Medical Laboratory Labcorp reviews
9I had my blood drawn with an appointment and had a very short wait time. The front office staff were polite and professional. I was really impressed with the technician, Christine, as she was extremely professional and courteous. This is my second time going to Labcorp and the experience was similar. I appreciate good customer service and people who are proficient at the skill. Thank you - Tim
Too bad I can't rate it with no stars! The girl behind the front desk yesterday, November 8,23 at 11: 30 am, was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you're going to keep her, perhaps teach her some customer service skills so that she won't treat the patients especially the elderly with disrespect.
I had to get some labs drawn while visiting my sister here and she recommended this location. I was nervous because parking seemed difficult to find (though I learned later that I could have used the parking lot on fourth street) but there were a number of 30 minute parking spots on Third Ave directly out front! I took a chance and paid $1.25 hoping I wouldn't have to wait long. I arrived ten minutes early and I was out before my appointment time! The staff was very nice and efficient, and the facility was clean - I would definitely come here again!
I’ve been a regular visitor of this particular LabCorp location for over 4 years and I’ve never been disappointed. When I have an appointment, it always happens on time. If I don’t have one, I never wait for more than 30 minutes. There is a very easy check-in process with two kiosks at the entrance, just scan your documents and you are done. And most importantly, all the lab members are very nice and professional. I often have my blood drawn by the same Spanish speaking lady who is by all means the most wonderful lab person I’ve ever met. I 100% recommend this location for lab services.
I went in around 10: 30 on a Friday morning for a blood panel and was expecting at least an hour wait; to my surprise there was only one other person in the lobby. I was quickly checked in and immediately called back to have my blood drawn. The lady (I didn't catch her name) was very nice, made sure I was comfortable with needles and barely felt a thing at all; she was great! In and out in literally 4 minutes. Not sure if I just got lucky or what, but the experience was great!
I had no appointment. When I walked in 2 people were in line ahead of me and almost all the waiting room chairs were taken, but I only waited 20 minutes to have my blood drawn. They took 3 vials and I did not feel a thing. The practitioner was very friendly, nice, fast and efficient.
I had the best experience here today. It’s never fun getting blood drawn but I was in and out within 10 -15 minutes. There was a parking garage connected to the building that had easy access to an elevator up to Labcorp which made parking easy. Highly recommend this location.
I asked about the availability of PCR tests at this facility and the person staffed there said and I quote, “We don’t do swabs here. ” The idea that I need to explain to a medical professional that a PCR test for HSV does not require a swab and can be done with a blood sample is honestly baffling. I then asked if they were aware of any facilities in the area that offered PCR tests, they looked it up on their computer only to then inform me that they do in fact offer PCR tests but they need to be ordered specifically. So which is it? ! Do you or don’t you offer PCR tests? ! If the personnel here could get their story straight and educate themselves as to the type of testing that is actually offered it would save people like myself money and frustration.
This place can be busy, and that because they are great at their jobs. I was sent to LabCorp because my doctor office were unable to get blood. Two bandaged hands.
Because of my darn “invisible veins”.
However, LabCorp Phlebotomist Ermoole was excellent. She was able to find my invisible veins and get my blood out on her first try. I was in and out within 10 minutes. She was also pleasant to chat with.
