Great spot if you're looking for boba before 11am! I always pass by Ladurée on the way to work but they open at 7am, the same time my shift starts. On days I get to go in a bit later, I often contemplate whether or not to make a quick detour for boba. I usually do. My defaults are the sunset passion (no caffeine) and the jasmine milk tea.

The girl that was working on 8/20/20 in the evening was extremely rude and has no sense or meaning of customer service. So as we got to the video she closed the video doors and walked away to the other side with no words said. So I just walked away and went to E Bar by Nordstroms, very polite and friendly staff that want to help you out.

This is the last time I will visit this place. I'm a pretty big fan of La Durée in General. Every time I visit Paris, I eat at their main location on the Champs Elysees. Their menu and service is generally outstanding. I love their hot chocolate. Best one in the world. Period. The location in Beverly hills is also really good. The place is Glendale is the opposite of this. The service is deplorable. I called today their main number in Beverly Hills (the one is Glendale was not responding), they assured me that the place would be open till 7pm. I drove 45 min to get some macarons. Arrived there to see a note at the window "Will be back at 5h30". Waited another hour. Not happy. The Girl attending came back with shopping boxes (She obviously went shopping). This is unbelievable. Every time I go there there's an issue. (No service or closing early, no Hot chocolate, lack of courtesy.) I really hope the Management of La Durée do something about this.

The vegan millefeuille was simply awful. Please, Ladurée, only sell your traditional millefeuille. Even for a vegan, the vegan one was not worth eating.

Usually, I LOVE this place. The last time I was there, they forgot two pieces of our order. The strawberry marshmallow macaroon tasted off (stale). When we said something, they were awfully rude.

Almond croissant or a kouign amman.you can't go wrong with either! Hands down the best French pastry place in CA. I like going on a weekday, grabbing a table facing the street and imagining that everybody around me is speaking French and I am facing the Jardin de tulleries!

What can I say? The pastries are all awesome. Chocolate banana croissant is outstanding. Pick up a few pastries and order a green tea. Then soak up the local atmosphere:)

Great macaroons in a small stall at the mall, French branded, and I think as good as they do "over there"

Excellent snack in the middle of the galleria with seats to people watch! The macarons are good, but the pastries such as the croissants or the eclairs are the true stars! They do sell out quickly, so come early. The seats are limited, but statistically situated in the middle of the galleria.

Delicate, very flavorful and aromatic, rich and colorful flavors. Friendly service, beautiful shopping area.

Pastries are really the best we can find in LA, service unfortunately is just not on par with quality of sweet food and salty foods are just not where they need to be in terms of quality.

This place just opened last month. The only Ladurée location available in California before were the ones in The Grove and Beverly Hills, so I’m really happy that they opened another one, this boutique in The Americana at Brand! I could still remember when the only Ladurée USA location was in New York! Lol.

Anyway, some staff here are very friendly and some are not. I went here with my boyfriend last Saturday, 12/16/2017 at evening time. There was no line at the front on that time so we weren’t sure if the shop was already open, upon closer look, we saw a guy inside. The guy with the black glasses on asked us what we would liked and he was very pleasant and nice. We ordered the “Saint-Honoré Rose & Framboise” and one hot cappuccino. We ordered on the left window and the guy with glasses on prepared our orders and gave the check to his other coworker who was on the right window. We paid on that right window and the guy who billed us didn’t even greet us or smiled. I still gave a tip and signed the receipt that the guy on that right window asked me to sign.

After 15-20minutes, I went back to the front to order one of each of their 8 available macarons and hot coffee with milk and sweetener. The guy with the glasses on was still pleasant as ever! I noticed that he was also pleasant to the other customers, as well. He told me that he can give the sweetener to me on the side. After ordering to him, I was directed again to the other window for the payment and it was the same “not-that-friendly cashier guy”. After paying, I asked that cashier guy for sweetener because the guy with the glasses forgot to put one on the side, the cashier guy gave me one. I didn’t give any more tip and I guess he was mad? Because he just frowned when he noticed that I just signed the receipt. How can I give him another tip when he was not really the one that prepared my order? He didn’t even said “Hi” or smile, and the other customers before me didn’t also give any tips.

I just ignored it but when I added the sweetener on my coffee, I realized that I needed one more. So I went back to that right window and asked for another one. He looked at me intently and gave it to me with his very displeased face. I still said my thanks to him and just ignored what happened. But I was thinking why he was acting like that to me? I wonder if Ladurée deducts any salary to their workers if a customer asked for a sweetener, I’m pretty sure they don’t, so why give me that kind of attitude?

Anyway, their desserts and drinks tasted great! I enjoyed them very much!
