Laguna Beach House

Cute place, clean and comfortable rooms, nice heated pool and jacuzzi, and great location. Friendly staff, and evening wine and cookies in the lobby.

We made the reservation several months prior to our stay. While making the reservation we requested that a portable crib be in our room upon arrival. After arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a gentleman who borderline appeared intoxicated. The gentleman, dressed poorly for his position, was unable to confirm whether or not the portable crib was in our room. Once in the room we quickly observed no crib. We then called the same gentleman who informed us that he would retrieve it from a storage closet and bring it to our room on the first floor of the property. After 30 minutes had surpassed, and still no sign of the crib, we placed another call down to the front desk. The same gentleman informed us that the crib was located at their sister property, and that it would take approximately 20 minutes. After another 45 minutes, and still no crib, we placed a call again to the front desk. A new individual answered the phone and explained that they had just had shift change. After over 1.5 hours, and a cranky 8 month old, the crib was found. After this ordeal occurred I requested to speak with the hotel manager. After two weeks, I have still yet to hear from management. We will not be back.

Very nice little boutique hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. Ocean view is a plus. Staff is very nice and attractive and the free wine at 5pm is a nice touch. Walking distance to downtown and the beach.

Awesome place to stay on the north side of Laguna. It keeps you close to town but without all the traffic. Walking distance from everything you’d want to do. The hotel itself is cute and well managed! All the staff members we extremely polite! Annette and Chris we very helpful on recommendation on good places to eat and chill at the beach. Lovely place to stay and we will definitely return to stay with them again.

Really close to the beach, great location to walk to the main boardwalk of Laguna Beach. Breathtaking scenery and close to restaurants.

We absolutely loved our time at LBH! The staff were so kind and helpful. We loved the complimentary coffee, warm cookies, and wine throughout the day. Our room was spacious and clean and the pool area was well-kept as well. We were a 3-5 minute walk from the beach and great restaurants and shops. We would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Laguna Beach!

This is a great little hotel. Rooms have been refurbished and they are very nice. Pool and hot tub area are nice, although the hot tub was too hot. Great location, easy walk to beach, restaurants and galleries but you're not paying the 'on the water' price.

I have to rate this property low strictly on BAD value.yeah it’s in laguna and yeah it’s kinda close to the ocean, but not that close.yes you can barely see the ocean if you stand in the right spot and peer between two other buildings, but the main beach is almost a half mile away.the room itself was “ok” but literally not even as nice as a typical hampton inn.i must admit the bed was comfty but that was the only standout.but what really turned me off was the additional $100 they charged me at checkout for “amenities” and parking.ok i suppose i could’ve taken the bus but $50 for 2 nights of parking when you already charged me $1000 is unnecessary.and “amenities” should absolutely have been in the room rate.and BTW, amenities means a teeny tiny pool and a cookie.they do have a hot tub though, so if that’s worth $550 a night to you knock yourself out.there were other options in the area for half the price.i expected a LOT more out of this hotel stay and i would not go back.

Very good location and clean rooms. Extremely friendly staff as well. Great boutique hotel for a good price. Only FYI is the AC units are a bit noisy and you can hear your neighbors door slam in the morning/night so if you are a sensitive sleeper, bring your ear plugs etc.

I rarely remember people's names. It says a lot when I say I remember Kristopher's (with a K, not a C) name.
He is officially our friend. It's the people that make any experience amazing. Whether you are on a subway, a flight, lost and needing directions, or staying at a hotel.
He has a kind personality, fun demeanor, and truly looked like he loves working here.
If he loves working here then the hotel must be a great place to stay and work, right?
It is. It's quaint but checks all the boxes that are important for your stay.
What do you sleep on? The bed is comfy
The location: close to the main attractions, What is the shower like, warm and high pressure,
is the bathroom small, perfect size

Give Kristopher a raise. I would in a heart beat. If not, come work for me. I got you.

We stayed here for five days at the end of a road trip holiday. And it was PERFECT for relaxing and unwinding. The rooms are big, well looked after and the beds are very comfy.

Staff are great and the pool / hot tub are great if you don't have time for the beach.

There are MANY beaches, restaurants and bars all within a 15min walk.

My only suggestion for the owners would be to include creamer capsules with the coffee!

This place is a bit up the hill from the main beach which is why 3 stars for location. It has a view of the ocean but there are other buildings between you and the water. The room was nice and clean. We were on the end so we had an ocean view out a window. Others had a more limited view. Unfortunately there was a stairwell by our room so people kept walking past during the day. They do serve a complimentary glass of wine every night and a fresh baked cookie which was great. Parking was easy and self park, no valet. All in all a clean, ok place but didnt seem to fit w $500/night.

Highly recommend staying here! Close to the shops and walking distance from the beach. Clean and quiet rooms, best place in Laguna for some R&R, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. We will absolutely keep coming back.

Stayed here a little over a year ago.dull rooms with the rudest staff in the world.couldn’t have felt more unwelcome.

We stayed 2 nights in room 114 and it was so fun. The front desk staff ladies and gentlemen were absolutely great. We were treated like family. There is wine at 5pm and cookies at 6pm. What a great time. We had to leave in a hurry for San Diego and could not thank the team properly. Thank you so much to the team! This is highly recommended for all to stay.
