A wonderful Thanksgiving weekend camping event with family for 5 days. Our 1st visit at the lake, everything went well. It's a large park with plenty of camp site hook-up options.

Our first time at Lake Casitas. We stayed in the Egret campground. Very nice, clean and easy access back in sites. Looking forward to going back

They impounded my Kayak for the stay. Could have just let me keep it in my truck. Not all Full hook ups sites are. Was no sewer at mine. Haven't been here in 40+ years and forgot, no swimming.

Was a peaceful weekend tho:)

Spent four days there last week. Weather was hot two days and cooler two days. Park is clean and everything on our sight worked. Staff friendly, very nice experience. Will definitely return.

Very nice campground. Didn't feel crowded. Enjoyed the shady trees and felt safe to let our little one run free with other children in camp. Quiet at night and great views of the stars. There is a nicely stocked camp store and numerous playgrounds for kids in the campground. The park also has boat rentals and sells fishing licenses and everything you need to fish. We enjoyed our 3-nights at Lake Casitas campground!

I was not allowed to drive up and get a site! The officer at 5 am would not let me get a sight for my tourney! Not to happy with service

Lake is exreeemely low, with no water running in the streams that feed it.
The Water park, which was a extremely fun attraction four kids and family, has been closed for 2 years?
However the Recreational area, still has lots of enjoyable activities, to have fun we had a nice barbecue or picnic.
There is a nice cozy little restaurant with beautiful views to have a bite to eat cold beer / wine available. Limited hours of operation.
You can also rent boats and they have a tackle shop they are on premise.theres a general store, which sells a variety of items you might need. Miscellaneous Sundries, variety of food items ice cream, beer and wine is also available for purchase there too.
Lots of people camping out in RV’s and tents.
They were still allowing small fires within designated fire rings and barbecue pits.
There are several nice mountain bike trails to enjoy and hiking, fishing.
The Frisbee golf course located inside the park is awesome with a high degree of difficulty. ️

Staff was great to handle my reservation needs and cleanliness. We all had a very relaxing camping trip there. Thank you Park Staff.

People and grounds were really nice and clean. My only frown, was there was an energy saving time where the Mens showers didnt have adequate light during the day.

I have never seen this lake so low. We need to do something about this drought we are in. Im.even down for silver iodide or cloud seeding.

Low voltage some loops on weekend hot days. Management was great about it and advised electric upgrades are coming soon.

Very relaxing and nice campground! Beautiful views and the staff is very friendly. Full hook up spaces are very convenient & concrete pads are nice & level. Definitely recommend to take the family & just enjoy nature. Looking forward to going again!

I've visited here twice with my godkids (now age 10 and 8) and have been overwhelmed with how well this campsite has been maintained. The park rangers have been so kind every time we interacted with them and are so cool with the kids. The quite time is from 10pm to 8am and is monitored well and we'll enforced. Beyond that, it has by far the best bathrooms I've seen at any campsite yet, huge plus with kids!

Beautiful day on the lake. Saw a plane land on the water. Lots of wildlife to enjoy. Water level is very low, but still had a great time. My buddy even caught a 2.5 lb bass.

We stayed with family and the restrooms were not kept up! We stayed in the G area and we had kids and the restrooms were so dirty & unsanitary that they were just as bad as porta potties. Dury this pandemic you should do better! Please make sure the restrooms are better taken care of! Thank you!
