Lake Del Valle Family Campground reviews
7Amazing peaceful place/ had bbq pits/ the water was warm when we went a few days ago. August 2023/ there was restroom / bbq pits. Super nice. Check this place out. The fee to get in for the day was 6$.
Welp we decided to reserve a campsite here and its definitely been left to be forgotten. On the first 20 camp sites are open. The rest look completely abandoned and deteriorated. Also the river that runs by the sites is non existent as of 7/16/23. It seems like it might flooded and never fixed. Sad to see it.
Peacefully on the weekdays. Full hookups. Can now get some cell coverage!
Nice place when we visited last time, this year, these people cancelled the booking a week before our reservation stating that the weather events in jan-feb problems were not fixed. They hoped it would be fixed but did not do it. Now I am one week away and can't book for the summer. Extremely poor judgement from these guys.
Drove all the way to find it closed. Would have been nice if it said so on line. He said it is but it definetley did NOT say closed. Very disappointed going so far.
No generators were allow which in my opinion is stupid. The rv sites with hookups are 50$ and the tent sites are 35$. Luckily the spot I chose, my solar panel was able to charge. If I am paying 35$ for no hookups why can’t I use my generator?
Showers were hot and nice pressure but kinda dirty so wear your shower shoes!
Water and trash cans are available. They lock the gate to the campground at 10pm so you can leave you just can’t come back, they open at 7
I stayed at Lake Chabot campground. This campground would have been great, but a little far away from my destination.
