Very nice place to rest up or eat your picnic meal.now that there's water in the lake!
Be aware that there is a small sign when you enter that says you need a day permit.not sure where you get it.

I was here in Jan 2023. It’s a bit cold. Quiet peaceful place. Better be equipped and take some food with you. There is one store nearby and a gas station.
