Lake Elsinore Unified School District - Transportation, Wildomar CA

I'm so so sick of this transportation department. I have 5 separate children all from different schools and ranging from 19 to 6 and in 15 years of my kids being on the bus, these last two years after moving to this district are OUTRAGEOUS! When the children are dismissed from school, they will let them sit at the school for sometimes well over an hour before they pick up the students. They have set after school drop off times that the younger children require a parent or gaurdian to be there and a without a phone call or alert to the parents they will drop off My 6 year old sometimes an hour late. They have never once answered one of my phone calls or messages returned. It's disgusting and they shouldn't be allowed to transport young children

Every year there is an issue with late pick ups but this year has been the worst. If school gets out at 3: 30pm the bus should be there, instead my son sits around at school until around 4pm, sometimes later, before it shows up. The school district needs to allot more funding for more buses.

I have to admit that every “with the exception of the old nice lady by the door” single clerk seem to hate their job.

My son lost his pass prior to school starting and I reorder his pass on August 2,2023 “still haven’t received it” I have tried to contact someone for a week with no response. I went in today to the office to ask for the status, only to be told “eventually the pass will be mailed in” the clerk was rude and seem like I was wasting her time.

I left the office the same way I went in. With no idea when I will receive my sons pass.

I just hope their day gets better and release that with there to get help and not to be rudely treated.
