Machine wasn’t dispensing soap I asked for help I paid several times with credit card.she said she didn’t know how to do it. And walked away. Then Ranted and raved to other workers about it. Very uncomfortable experience.

Love this spot but hate the parking situation. I like the very open concept and the app integration as well as card features. This was the first spot I went to and have consistently returned to, as the washer and drier at my complex are tiny, probably purposefully so as to get more from tenants. The staff at LML is friendly and they even have Amazon lockers set up inside should you want to have all your packages sent in there. I recommend going early weekend mornings if you are doing your own laundry, so you can find decent parking. If you’re like me, you don’t want to walk around a block or half a block with dirty clothing and bulky sheets.

Used to love this place. Until it took my money and the lady walked off and wouldn’t help.

I added 65 minutes to the pinpad and swiped my laundry card. It charged me $3.25. Then I pressed start button when the light above was flashing green. The dryer only went up to 40 minutes and the lights on the screen flashed “99 min max”. I then figured maybe I needed to just add it in smaller increments and added 10 minutes to the pin pad and paid $. 50 for it. Again got the 99 minute max message. This is when I brought the lady’s attention to the issue and she said she doesn’t give refunds (which is fine I get it). She walked over to the machine (dryer 57) and I offered to show her the issue and she laughed and this is when she walked off. Customers were even watching this go down.

She claimed I was taking a risk by using her machines? I told her I “was taking a risk by being her customer” and using her product.

Lots of big, fast washers and dryers capable of double and triple loads. The whole place is clean and well maintained, and Lottie (the owner) is friendly and helpful; once she offered me a spray of some extra strength cleaner to add for a pet bed. One of my favorite features is all the machines take credit/debit cards so I don’t have to stock up on quarters; can also pay with DexterPay. Window seating and lots of benches and tables for folding or just hanging out while you enjoy the free wifi.

Machines only give you half the time you pay for and everything still comes out soaked. Then you get to lug your wet clothes a few blocks away because there’s no parking. Making a place look pretty doesn’t mean anything if the actual services don’t work.

Love this place. Always clean - the owner is so sweet! She is always there, talking to people - she is a neighborhood fav! Machines take card - lots of washers and dryers available

This place is nice and clean, great location but there is been 3 different times when I put over an hour in the driers and my clothes come still wet.
I even put 2 hours and a low amount of cloths in hi hit and still doesn’t work.
I hope you guys can inspect your machines and ensure they work as intended.

Love this laundromat. It's unfortunate there is no restroom on the winds. However it is always clean and is credit card friendly in case of no cash.

First time visiting over the weekend, very chill, clean and orderly environment.

I had a technical issue and the owner was super helpful! Mind you he's out of the country and I found out later it was 5am where he was while he helped me. Really generous and kind.

Wow wow wow am I impressed this is the best laundromat I lost some money in the dryer and I called the number on the the wall the guy answered on the first ring and so friendly he said oh I'll catch up you and he was going to cash out my money back to me that I lost and so friendly so helpful and very prompt and I'm going to make this my best and my go to laundromat from now on this is the best laundromat and I'm very very very pleased and impressed with the with the service and how friendly cuz I was so yeah this is a great laundromat I don't mind spending my money here

This place is my go-to laundromat in the Lake Merritt area. It's large and has a huge selection of washers and dryers. Their hours are extremely accommodating as well. I've gone on different days throughout the week and the early mornings on weekdays are the least crowded times to go. But even when it is crowded, I've never had trouble finding a machine to use. A double bonus is that you can use both cards and coins here. One last thing, the management that runs this place are kind spirited and always willing to help you with any of your questions or concerns.

This is a waste no time, clean and friendly laundromat. You can be in and out in about an hour maybe less depending on your wash. Plenty of machines, space to fold and layout your laundry and a block + off of lakeshore Blvd making it feel secluded with only local foot traffic. My go to when need calls for it.

Lake Merritt Laundromat is the best! Big machines, coin machine, takes credit cards, pleasant atmosphere, and the owner is the nicest! Our go-to laundromat!

I feel like the old lady was treating me (a black man) differently from the other non-minority customers there. I didn’t like her attitude from the start. I just wanted to come in and wash my clothes and be done with it. But it seemed like she had some underlying bigotry behind her face, which is pretty ironic because I presume she's black herself, if not, a member of the minority group. Never coming back.

Lotti is amazing. The place is clean, not too crowded, reasonably priced, and it's right next to a coffee shop. I will be back

Our washer broke and the laundry was piling up so we headed down to Lake Merritt Laundromat. What a great laundromat! From the other customers to Miss Lottie, just wow. I never knew a doing my wash in a laundromat could make me happy, but it did. Will definitely keep this great gem in mind in the future:)
