Lalo's, Oxnard CA

A must visit when in the LA, Ventura, Oxnard area. We come from Santa Barbara to eat at this amazing establishment! It's so good.

This was my second time at Lalo's Food was super salty, good flavor but soo much salt.

If you're not interested in a Mexican restaurant, please find somewhere else. It's noisy and crowded with pleasantly loud music, as it should be. The service is cordial and accommodating, but it's really the food. It's fresh and interesting and amazing. I chose seafood but I was fortunate to try several entrees and they were all full of flavor. I highly recommend the fish taco and the fish ceviche.

I heard great things about lalos, so disappointed, ordered lengua, it was tough and dry like it was under a heat lamp, when asked by the lady boss, I said it was tough and chewy, she said, asi es la lengua dismissively, poor hospitality undercooked tounge, bitter tounge from the owner. Never again.

Woke up with a hangover AGAIN. There was no wait time. I ordered a large Posole to cure the hangover. I added the habanero sauce and it sure did its job. Sheeeeessh. Definitely recommend the Posole.

I came in before 10pm. And took a friend to try out the food which was not bad when I came. But we got turn down and refuse service. This is the last time I will recommend anyone to this place. If your hours says 10pm you guys should respect that. Worst service ever.

Huge menu featuring classic Mexican food, seafood and breakfast. Stopped for lunch with a coworker; I had a molcajete with chicken, steak, grilled cheese, nopales, 1 bacon wrapped shrimp, in a Delicious boiling salsa. Meat was tender and the sauce was awesome. The place is large and there's a bar in the back. I definitely want to return and check out more of the menu.

This place was amazing. The best tacos I have ever had. Perfectly crisp shell, good amount of toppings they weren't afraid to put avocado on it in most places there's hardly any on it. The rice and the beans were just as good! I wish I could give 10. Friendly service and helpful. A happy atmosphere. Buzzing with happiness. Will most definitely be ordering again. A new regular.

Excellent and very good food in a variety that does not appear here, molcajete cielo mar y tierra is my favorite, salmon, rib eye steak with shrimp etc.etc.

I like the food, but I don't like it that one of the server keeps hugging my grandmother, and just hugs her just for the tips! It should just be the person who serves us, and be more professional instead of being touchy touchy with my grandmother. Please keep your hands to yourself. I was there today at 12: 30 pm and a regular customer. I felt bad for the server who served us last month and I saw her disappointed. I explained to my grandmother that the tips stays in the table.

The place is very popular on the radio.but it's not a big deal, the prices are very high

Wonderful all around experience! Not cheap but definitely quality in all categories! They don't sacrifice quality at all! Great food, service, & atmosphere. You definitely get what you pay for! Priceless!

We ate at Lalo's for the first time. There's always a line of people waiting outside, so we figured it must be good. Our meal was absolutely delicious. From the warm chips and fresh salsa to the sizzling fajitas and freshly made tortillas, our taste buds were delighted. The mixed fajitas were fantastic, and the shrimp was soooo good. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning.

The food was as good as usual, but the service was poor. We had to wait 15-20 min to have our order taken and others were served much faster. I don't know why or what happened. Service is usually fine.
