Do not buy from this Land Rover dealership. I bought a 2019 Range Rover and was sold on an extended warranty where I was told it would take me out to 50K miles. To my surprise, when my service light came on at about 48K miles I took it into the service department for my last visit under the warranty and they informed me that it's 4 years OR 50,000 miles. I was never told about the 4 years. I took it in on the 5th of February and was told that my warranty had ended on January 20.

In addition, I bought a "rim" warranty. The original salesperson told me that if I bought this warranty, I would be able to get any curb damage fixed over the 50,000 miles. To my surprise after I had some pretty good scrapes, I was told that the damage was not covered. In summary, this place is big time bait and switch. If you do buy from them, make sure you read the very fine print and don't believe a word any of the salespeople tell you. And don't buy any of the warranties that they tell half truths on.

No Stars for this place!

This is the worst customer service of ANY car dealership I’ve ever dealt with. Beware! They have a monopoly so they think they can treat the customer poorly.

Below is a message after 4 days of holding the vehicle we had to send:

Range Rover Service has now had my brand new vehicle for 4 days. In those 4 days I have made multiple attempts through you to speak to the Service Manager. These requests have produced no results. Are you forwarding my requests? If so, please state very clearly that you have requested he call me or that he is ignoring your requests. This is a very serious matter that needs to be handled ASAP. I am also requesting you send me his full name and email address. The way your company is handling this process is absolutely horrific. As a repeat customer that just spent $147,000 buying a vehicle that now spent almost as much time in service as I have had possession of is unacceptable. If I do not hear from the service manager today I will request to speak to the General Manager starting tomorrow.
This is not the way to treat customers! I will wait to hear from the Service Manager or your response to my repeated requests.

Worst sales and customer service experience.
The sales rep wasn’t helpful, hardly answered our questions about the Range Rover sport, overall he was very rude!
We decided to go to Mercedes and the sales rep was great and we are now considering a 134k vehicle from Mercedes and never thinking about Range Rover again …

Rolled into the valet parking and before I could roll my window down on my rented 4Runner I was instantly judged and asked by the valet why I’m here and what car I was looking to purchase— it took me back by surprise and I just said me and my husband are just car shopping and he advised that the dealership was closed— this was on a Saturday 10/11 at 7: 25ish (dealership didn’t close till 8). I reversed and exited the lot went on my phone and found a Mercedes dealership and paid a deposit on a car worth over $100K. I guess this is a lesson not to judge a person by the car they roll in/the way they look.

Absolute worst service. They have so much turnover. I bought a brand new Range Rover which immediately started having problems. I love the car and they look so much that I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix it. I’ve owned the car for 10 months and the car has been in the shop a total for one month and it’s still experiencing the same problems. Service never calls back and has such a disrespectful attitude. Buy a car from them and lemon law your car if it needs requirements. They need a wake up call. Also report the service department to the bbb

Great and easy experience buying our Range Rover. Amir was able to help us get the exact vehicle we wanted. He was in communication with us the entire time and when the vehicle came the buying process was so easy! Thank you Amir.

I bought a previously owned Prius Prime Premium that included a trunk cover when they presented the car to me. The salesman demonstrated the trunk privacy cover. It was missing from the car when I got home. They deny removing it, and refuse to replace it. No one has used my car. Poor customer service.

Zero ethics. Awful experience with the staff and management. Bait and switch alert. They offered me one price on the phone and text then didn’t honor and said I’d owe another $7,000 due to a system glitch. What a story to propose! Please don’t conduct any business here. Make them switch ownership once more!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer in February and have had a terrible experience overall. For being a luxury brand, I expected the service to be friendly and prompt. Service is so backed up, which I could understand given current circumstances, but the people are so rude that it makes it frustrating. They don’t offer a loaner and don’t seem to care that the customer is being inconvenienced. Lexus, Mercedes, BMW have all provided much better service in the past. The bad experience with this dealer has actually impacted my view of the car itself. If you can, go elsewhere.

I was most impressed with the professional sales process and quickness in completing the purchase documents which normally is a growling 3 hour process. All was completed inside of 1 1/4 hours. Comfortable environment with good natured personnel. I highly recommend Newport Land Rover!

This has been the biggest disappointment dealing with this dealership. I have called the service department at least a dozen times trying to get someone to help me with my BRAND NEW Land Rover. When I purchased the car I got all the bells and whistles (bumper to bumper extended warranty, service package, body work package and loaner car for any service) and now I can't get anyone to help me. I have left numerous messages in every department. I finally got someone to agree to come pick up my car to address the issues and they did not show up. I took the day off from work and no call no show. I have paint that has bubbled up on the front bumper, a warning light on and a few other mechanical issues all in the first 2000 miles. No loaner car, no returned call.completely unprofessional! I have lodged a complaint with Land Rover trying to get someone to support me. The paint bubble has now fallen off and there is a chunk of paint missing off a band new car for no reason and other issues with the car. Buyer beware! They promised me stellar customer care and the first issue has come up and they go ghost mode! I have left messages with every department and nothing. I am not sure what to do at this point.

Heath Friedman who was our sales /leasing agent. We are biased and believe he's the best. He is an expert in this industry, kind, detailed and very professional. He listens to his customers needs and will find the perfect vehicle for them. He makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk into the showroom and ready to help you find the perfect car for you. Thanks to Heath we found a terrific vehicle! We were so impressed and will be returning customers to Newport Jaguar and Land Rover!

The showroom was very clean & elegant. The entire personnel were very friendly and made you feel welcome!
The entire experience was very fluid, clean and with no pressure at all. Alex Lazovic was very pleasant and easy to work with.
It took 3 weeks to narrow our choice of SUV's between Jaguar & Range Rover.
Our salesman was very helpful in the entire process including reaching out to me on his days off.
We selected a Range Rover Velar and it was delivered within one day. The Finance Manger is a very pleasant gentleman to work with and he was very thorough in his explanations! He took the time to explain and walk you through all the documents with each step explaining the pro's & con's. Thanks NATE my brother from another mother! Your assistance was invaluable in the process I appreciate it

LIARS, SCAMMERS, and CHEATERS, oh my! Engine light came on in my Land Rover. Spent $2,700 to get it "fixed". Within 3 HOURS my engine light appeared again! They kept my car for 39 days! Then told me it would be another $5,000 plus to "fix it" again!? !? !? Took my car to a real mechanic and spent $800 plus and after 4 months my car in working just fine. NOT the first time I've delt with these LIARS but I guarantee you it was definitely the last.

Very disappointed. Called them about 2 vehicles and they told me that I could order the vehicle so salesman had me build it on their site and send the build to him. Then I asked if they needed a deposit and he said no, I will contact you when we are placing the order, so I passed on placing orders elsewhere thinking everything was good. Well the order time came around and the sales guy calls me to tell me that now they want 30K over MSRP and that it is what it is basically. I call a manager and let him know that I figured I should bring this to his attention instead of going straight to complaining or writing a review and he said I will call you back once I figure out how to rectify the issue. He did not. (what a shocker). So I called again today and spoke to a different manager who said oh, yes I will have him call you then comes and tells me that the manager I originally spoke to would call me back today but hey, still no calls. Once again. WHAT A SHOCKER. Horrible service and horrible experience with this dealer. They are lucky I found another vehicle elsewhere or I simply would’ve taken legal action against them for losing out on other deals at other dealers considering I had taken the correct steps to make sure my order gets in quickly and easily. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone and will never again even try doing business with them. Just figured maybe my experience can help others cause this seemed more like a tactic they use to guzzle in an extra 30K per car by telling you about it once it’s too late for you to order it elsewhere. First of all Like to commend all the staff that I dealt with yesterday super informative extremely knowledgeable they go out of their way to explain everything and they weren’t pushy and I definitely recommend Chrissy if you have a chance to have her sit you down you’ll be lucky she was extremely helpful gathered up information on the fly anything I needed she just handled …. Extreme professional …Jeff was very accommodating and worked to get me a great deal… And then went out of his way to transport me back to the lot to pick up my second vehicle… Todd in finance was absolutely smart on how he explains everything and is super respectful …. Thanks to everyone at jaguar/ Range Rover of Newport …. Great experience!
