L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele reviews
14 The service was awful. We should beg for a cup of water!
The pizzas were so salty. None of us were able to finish their pizza. Even when we let them know, they just said ok we we let Chef know.

I even call them as they requested but their manager didn't get back to me yet!
As a native brooklynite who grew up on pizza, you can believe all the hype about this place. We tried a bunch of different types, Even the Cacio y Pepe was fantastic but the Pizza Margherita is the best, no extra cheese needed.
It's good napolean pizza. Funny thing is I've had better from an la food truck. I guess I still prefer a little crunch on the bottom side of my crust. The flavors of the margherita were good but that other pie with the calabrian chili, sausage, spinach, and smoked cheese was such a miss. It tasted oily and flat and had way too much spinach. I tried to tell the waiter that there is no smoked cheese on this, and they sort of just finessed the explanation that it's super light tasting. I wouldn't come again, especially at this price. Atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. Those military camouflage pillows in the back patio were offbeat though.
Over the top awesome! Service, bar, eating area (open air) food-Spagliata pizze was the best ever!
Here, they make it real. I’ve never had pasta like this before, truly Al dente.
The Sausage and truffle pasta was love at first bite. Savory with a hint of spice and the truffles go so well together.
SPAGHETTI POMODORO has a satisfying tomato flavor. The Basel cuts the tomato flavor just right.
MARGHERITA PIZZA is saucy and doughy, has good flavor, it’s worth a try.
MEATBALLS were mid, maybe I should’ve eaten them before the pasta
Valet parking across the street.
Absolutely the best Italian food I have ever had. Especially the best Pizza Margherita I've had. Truly authentic. Also, great vibes with a beautiful bar.
Nice cozy place to go on a date, this place is hidden gem. Definitely recommend this for date night pizza dinner. Drinks are top notch, valet parking is available.
Francesco- I am severely disappointed and disturbed by your response and chosen behavior. Despite what you may have heard I am so sorry but that is very incorrect. I did not demand anything nor would I ever in my life. That is rude and not in my nature. I wasn't aware that my reservation was at 6: 30 pm. I came in at 7 PM. (I have my parking ticket to validate that if you'd like me to post that) I apologize for being 30 minutes late. I was coming from Playa Del Rey to enjoy your spot and sincerely thought my reservation was at 7 pm. I am seven months pregnant and have pregnancy brain moments. However, on the contrary, your restaurant was half empty the whole time I was there for an hour and 30 minutes, your pizza was still subpar, greasy, and undercooked not like how I remembered it from the previous experience. Regardless of someone being late- make them aware as I was not told. She never mentioned anything. She was rude and had no shame in showing that. Patrons should always be treated with respect and class. I'm sorry your associate and establishment do not exude that. Noted ****
Every dish was delicious. The salads, the pizzas, the calamari, the pastas were insanely good as was the service. Loved it.
Highly recommend if you're in the Hollywood area. I love that they focus on great quality food and good service. It was refreshing to go to a restaurant that wasn't a tourist trap, unlike most of the ones on the strip.
The food was just ok. The only things we really enjoyed were the carpaccio, the drinks, and the tiramisu. The pizza was not good at all. It was one of those kinds of pizza when you take a bite all the cheese and toppings slide right off! I would recommend you try their pasta or other entrees instead of their pizza. They lookes good, but we didn’t try them. Also, the posted hours on Google are incorrect. We arrived on a Saturday night at 10: 30pm because it said on Google that they closed at midnight. Well they shut everything down much earlier. Our server told us that the kitchen and bar were doing last call around 11pm. So I hope they update their business hours on Google so others don’t get confused. It was super
awkward watching the entire staff shut the restaurant down while there were still many tables inside trying to enjoy their dinner. The interior was super modern and nice. Our server was very kind and professional. But given that the food was not very good (and it was super expensive), I don’t think we would go back
The food is okay (not the best but it’s fine) but the portion is rather small. The atmosphere is the selling point I think
A lovely time was had.
Good drinks were drank!
That pizza was awesome sauce!
A must revisit!
