Las Casuelas reviews
17Consistently the best Mexican food in the valley! The only problem we have ever had was that is very busy.
I would not ever go to this restaurant again all the food was very spicy and full of grease just a very bad experience and a big disappointment wcs.
I have been here several times and the atmosphere and staff are always awesome! But the food and drinks are awful every time. The drinks taste watered down with tap water and sickly sweet. The frejoles are tasteless and crusty. The entres are not authentic. I always go in thinking it'll be better next time because they are always busy, but it's always gross.
Great food and fantastic service. Ordered the Molcajeta 3 Meat mix. Very nice team. Will definitely come back!
Horrible most racist Mexican restaurant in manteca if you are not Mexican be prepared to be treated like a 2nd class citizen sat my party down and went 30 mins without being greeted. Zero 0 stars
Las Casuelas is like the sit-down Mexican restaurant that I remember from my youth in 1970’s Southern California. The menu features a full page of specialties of the house in addition to the standard combo plates. Don’t miss the list of available house-made salsas to try with the excellent warm corn tortilla chips served to each table.
The waitress did not give us silverware even after our food was served we asked her and she never brought it. We had to ask a random worker for it after she ignored our request for silverware. Food was great. The guacamole could use some work.
Very good Mexican food. First time here. Enjoyed their meal and nice service. Manager checked on us multiple times. Very nice team.
Very good food service poorly educated the waitresses believe that they are the first to say that the customer should educate them that the customer comes first they wear their hair looking at each other sl is stupid and rude they never say sorry sorry cristian mida is good overalls today they served green chile to my wife and she asked for red instead of apologizing when we complained like they got upset and said feet that's how I decide if you want, you just need to educate the pardonal
Has been a family favorite for years, tonight however was not one of those nights. Cold food served, husband's order was wrong. Had a togo order that never got placed. Was just the opposite of the place we so enjoy. Weird.
Been searching for a restaurant with good Mexican food, and this may be it! Delicious warm chips, along with salsa and refried beans, were promptly served after we were seated. I ordered shrimp quesadilla with rice and black beans. The veggies in my quesadilla (onion and bell pepper) could have been sautéed more. They were almost raw. I would have liked more cheese, too. But it was tasty and fresh with plenty of shrimp pieces. My rice and beans were good. Hubby had chicken enchiladas with rice and black beans. He said it was all good but noted that the chicken didn't have a lot of flavor on its own. Excellent, friendly service. Very clean restaurant with a sort of festive atmosphere. We both decided that we are definitely going back to try another of their many tasty sounding offerings.
Food was delicious, great service with friendly/helpful servers & the restaurant & restrooms were very clean. Reasonable prices. Had not been there in years but will be going there a lot more often now!
Terrible service, yet the ones I visit, i.e. Modesto and Ripon I regularly have awesome service, (same family?) Served in the bar, though shouldn't make a difference on a Wednesday after-lunch rush.
After being seated, had to ask for utensils, to have our order taken, our server wasn't at all attentive.
Pretty good Mexican food. Staffing looked a little light for Father's day lunch. We were set down and given drinks. We got our food before utensils and napkins were placed. Overall good experience. I would try again cool ambiance that reminded me of one of our favorite places in Tri Valley.
It is the worst place to eat at and the food is very bad no flavor and the waiterstess want to keep your money they don't want to give your change to you over all the place is very bad don't go eT there
Nice place to wind down. You can always get a margarita that's guaranteed to cool you down! Love the chips and bean dip. So delicious everything is.
