Customers come from out of town or close to home for their hand made tortillas corn or flour, tamales, Cabesa and more. And you can also call in your order.

I recently went a couple times for tamales.eventhough the tamales have a good flavor in my opinion, the last 2 times the tamales were raw & inedible.very disappointed & will never return again.

I went to buy masa for tamales, they don't give you in a bag like other places, you have to buy a tray or take your own.they sell tacos and tamales and other foods too. Next time I'll try the food. The Masa is ok for tamales. I always go to Amapola un Downey, but this was a last minute purchase.

I tried them before a couple years back and they used to be delicious that's the reason I was back. But my disappointment was huge the tamales aren't what they used to, their chicharron wasn't their best and their totillas where average, too pricier for what I had and I undestand they have to raise the prices but where is the quality?

Good Tamales are hard to come by but these the best around. Th cheese tamales re the best! The pork and chicken are good too but can use a little bit more sauce in them. That would give them 5 stars!

Very disappointed with this place. The tamales used to be well worth the price. Something terribly went wrong the tamales are no longer the quality that they used to be. The taste is terrible, $20 for a dozen not even worth it now, about two years ago they were $20 then they were fat worth the price; further back they used to be $14 they were real fat well well worth. I don't know what in the world happened now. New ownership new managers? I came by today and got a couple tamales cuz I was in a hurry. Got home to eat very disappointed I was planning on buying three dozen for Christmas sure am glad I didn't buy all three right now I would have been very upset. Once upon a Time the tamales were real fat juicy well worth the price and at that time they were only $14 a dozen. Now there's hardly any meat in them they're just not made the way they used to be. I'm going to give him one more try I'll go by there this weekend and buy a couple more. The crazy thing is this is a historic place, I remember going there back in the early seventies to get menudo, flour tortillas, and tamales with my parents. Came back to get some more brought some to my friends that have for Christmas asked how they like them not too many people like them so they were nasty you guys really need to get up on your game if you read these reviews if they're not reading them everybody who does be careful when you buy their tamales because they taste terrible

Their masa is the only one my mom & I will use, and have been using to make fresh homemade tamales for many years! Always fresh & good!

The family spot for maza, menudo, sopes and tortillas. They sell the best tortillas de maiz and chicharrones. We've all been coming here since the 90s and they have never failed us.

My favorite place for tamales. The food is authentic, just like Nana used to make. Not a restaurant, but you can purchase beans, salsa, carnitas, and of course tortillas, among other wonderful foods to go. One of the best places in the area by far.

One of my favorite Mexican spots ever! Small menu but everything done well. Free tortillas to dunk in the rice and beans with chorizo:)
