Savannah was kind, professional and paid great attention to every tiny detail. I wanted natural looking lashes that were just more full and dark so I didn’t have to do my makeup. She recommended the classic set and they stayed on a week longer than any past lash service I’ve had. Pauline did my fill when Savannah wasn’t available. Now I have a pace to go with two stylists I enjoy and do a fantastic job!

I am infuriated by this place. I spent nearly $200 on lashes that I am NOT happy with. I gave these lashes a few hours (like 2 hours) to set in and see if I was happy. No! I tried to reach out to them to get my lashes fixed-I got no response or any help. I was finally able to reach them and was told that I either deal with it for 2 weeks or they would only wave the removal fee and I would have to pay for ANOTHER full set! And this was from the manager. I'm so upset I could cry. Never again. Never.

Update: I had my lashes removed by another facility to discover that the extensions were the identical length of my natural lashes. This is not what I got extensions for. I actually spoke with the manager of Lashbar and nothing got done.

I have had my lashes done many many times. This place is a waste of money and time. Unbelievable.

This was my first time getting my lashes done and I love them! They had great protocols in place for COVID safety. My lashes look great, it was clean, and overall a great experience.

Staff went out of their way to squeeze me in last minute. Customer service was above 5 stars. These girls are all amazing. Front desk receptionist Alicia was very kind and Jessica took extra care with my lash lift and did an incredible job. Highly recommend Jessica for your keratin lash lift if you're looking for something natural. Best decision i've made in awhile. My look is very low maintenance and if you have long, dark lashes, this is a great option.

I've been using Lashbar for 3 years now. I was seeing Sandra Senior Lash at the Mira mesa location. Let me start by saying I love this location and everyone that works there. It's clean, welcoming and professional. Sandra transferred down to Hillcrest, and it was a no brainer I would start coming to this location as well, for her high quality work! (When you find your lash person, the drive is worth it!). I got in touch via Instagram with Allie, the salon manager. I asked her about any promotions and she even offered to schedule me via IG for convenience. Allie is exceptional at customer service, product knowledge, she loves what she does and you can tell she loves her clients as well. She was quick about replying to my questions and messages, which I appreciated so much. She was flexible with my budget and offered me a $30 discount for a full set of lash extensions. I went to their website and easily scheduled my appointment with Sandra. I love how they give you a text message appointment reminder, days before. When I arrived at Hillcrest Lashbar for the first time I was in awe. This new salon is BEAUTIFUL! Allie greeted me warmly, honored my $30 credit for my appointment, and offered me a glass of water or glass of champagne while I waited to be seen. She was just as amazing in person as she was online. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I will definitely continue to keep coming to Lashbar Hillcrest. First of all the decor in this place was very posh! I love the VIBRANT white walls and marble counter tops. They have bar seating so that you can enjoy a beverage of your choice while you are waiting for you appointment.

FOH staff were sweet and kind, and very professional.

Jessica was my esthetician and completed my facial. She was very knowledgeable about how to help me with my dehydrated skin. I live out in the desert, so it's hard to keep moisture in my skin. I love how she explained each step and how each product had a different role. My skin still feels amazing after 3 days! Side note, I loved the products so much I bought them to use at home. I have to maintain all the hard work she did! Until next time

Later I completed lash lift! My technician was Joni and she too explained each step. This was my first time ever doing anything with my eyes like this. So I was nervous. Joni helped calm me and reassured me that everything would.be great! It was a great turn out! My lashes look amazing and curled! No more falsies! For now, until my next lift

I’ve been coming to Lashbar Hillcrest once every 2-3 weeks for a little less than one year, so this review is way overdue!

Whether you’re new to lash extensions or a veteran, this is the place to go. Everyone here is extremely friendly and will care about your lashes the way they care about theirs. Every appointment I’ve had has been handled with the utmost care, which is exactly what you want when it comes to your lashes.

INFO FOR FIRST TIMERS

The amazing folks here will consult with you and discuss what your lash goals are so that they can help you get the lashes of your dreams. If you arrive on time, you’ll be spoiled with a lychee champagne (or other beverage) before your appointment, which makes it even easier to relax and knock out.

I started off with Classic lashes, but because my natural lashes are short like my worst ex-boyfriend’s temper and sparse like the hair on his head, I’ve upgraded to volume lashes. I see classics on other people and they look amazing, so it’s up to you depending on your goals, but I’ve loved my lashes each step of the way. It feels pretty f*cking good to not have to spend extra time on my face in the morning.:)

THE TEAM

I can’t say enough about the team here. Since day 1, my lashes have been under the care and grace of Jessica. She (and Joni) have become close friends of mine in San Diego. While everyone on the team is fantastic, I can only speak to my experience with Jessica. I recommend her to anyone who makes an appointment here looking for a senior stylist (as of April 2019, Jessica is a senior stylist). Jessica is extremely detail oriented and admittedly I think she cares more about my lashes than I do sometimes! If you’re reading this, thank you so much for everything! While I haven’t had my lashes done by anyone else here, every person is extremely kind and helpful. It feels like visiting the family members you actually like when coming here.

THE AMBIANCE + LOCATION

It’s cute and clean inside Lashbar Hillcrest, which also makes it a perfect spot for a bachelorette party or girls’ day getting lashes done together, or any of the other services they provide.

It’s located in the main hub of Hillcrest, but not to fret - they offer parking validation for the parking lot just up the street on the left.

MEMBERSHIP YAAAASS

If you’re like me and want to get your lashes filled every 2 weeks, I highly recommend getting a membership! You pay 1x per month and can get your lashes filled twice a month. The pricing depends on the type of lashes you get (Classic vs. Hybrid vs. Volume). It’s cheaper to get the membership vs.paying separately each time, so do it!

PRODUCTS

This isn’t really a review, but just pro tips now that I’ve had my lashes done for about a year. The lash cleanser is incredible and will help prolong your lashes! My lashes used to fall out easily due to stress, but also because my eyelids get oily easily. This is magic in a tube! If your skin runs oily, I recommend the cleanser! I also love the Grande lash product that helps your lash grow thicker. Good for people who have naturally sparse lashes.

In case it’s not obvious, this is THE place for lash extensions.

Best waxing experience I've had so far. No pain, soothing music/sounds, and super sweet staff. Definitely going to be doing all my spa treatment related upkeep here. Thank you guys!

Jessica is an amazing lash artist, she funny, respectful, and very professional. Lashbar employees always smile and make you feel comfortable every time I walk in. The place is very trendy, nicely decorated, and clean. I am very happy with my eyelashes.

Great staff, Exceptional customer service, very clean and hygienic. The atmosphere is very bright and welcoming. I was waiting for my fiance who was getting her lashes done and I didn't feel weird staying the entire length of the service. They also serve a delicious signature lychee champagne.

Love the space! Joni and Jessica are detail oriented and super friendly. I constantly get compliments for my lashes even a month after getting the full set.

My beautiful wife got her eyelashes done by Jessica. Jessica is a true professional. I couldn't stop looking at my wife's eyes. The eyelashes looked very natural. I could tell that my wife loved them, too. She is already a very confident person, but there was something else that added to the confidence. I guess if you know you look good, you flaunt it. BTW, what guy knows the name of his wife's beauty services provider (?) ? I'll tell you, a guy that is amazed at the work done. I also know my wife's hair stylist (Anna at Salon Ink) just in case you had questions.

The sweetest and perfectioness Ms. Jessica did my Classic Lush Full set /Baby Doll. She was very helpful to walk me through the procedure and discuss the different kinds of lashes for me to choose from. She was accomodating and willing to work with the type of look I wanted. Also not too mention that the atmosphere inside LashBar was so chill and will make you feel like you would like to sleep; which I did Their plush pillows were duper kawaii! I was very much pleased and satisfied with the out come of my lashes. When I was done; She had observe it with my eyes open and she made me close my eyes again and added a few more lashes on my inner corner eye. She made sure I get my perfect lashes that soothes to the look I wanted and she did such a great job on individually placing them on. Super professional and I definitely reccommend them to everyone!
