Latin Market, Mammoth Lakes CA

If you like burritos this is the place for you. They're well prepared with a balance of (in our case) meat, rice, beans, grilled onions, tomatoes and guacamole. They're delicious. Cost is under $10, including a side of beans, grilled onions, salsas (yes, both red and green) and a grilled green chili. No wonder it's packed and no wonder we ate here twice during our stay in Mammoth. The guys serving it all up are talented cooks, and very sweet. I've lived in East L. A.my entire life and never would I have thought that there would be really really good Mexican food in mammoth. Wow! Amazing, authentic, and so so tasty! I didn't get a picture of the menu cuz it was kinda weird taking it right over the worker. The store is small with Latin foods stacked. You walk in the door and hear the workers singing in the back. Seems like they really enjoy their jobs. Super nice ppl. Once you order, take your food outside at their picnic area to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Or if it's too cold, they have an enclosed eating bar area right outside the front door. Go here for some amazing authentic food! You won't be disappointed! I forgot to mention that their prices are really reasonable for the area.

Best food in Mammoth. Great hidden gem with great prices. Very friendly staff. It's a little market not so much a sit down restaurant.
