I went for a checkup with my insurance mind you I got laid off during the week of my treatment with no notice so they seen how good my insurance was and told me they can do the root canal there knowing they did not have the specific tools and endodontics have I paid my co-payment set my appointment for a week later after she prepped my tooth for a root canal that my insurance covered. I went back July 31st the day my insurance was ending to finish the root canal they did what they did put a temporary filling and told me things did not work out the way they planned and a piece of their instrument broke off in the root of my tooth and now I have to rush to the specialist which is the endodontics where I should have been in the first place for root canal I rushed to Dublin for the endodontics that had an appointment for me right then there then endodontics tried to charge me $300 for a consultation because the general dentist broke the tool in my route mind you I go to Dublin endodontics with their tool still stuck in the root of my tooth and my mouth was still numb the assistant told me she needed to take her 30 minute break I wait an hour and a half before I seen The specialist. The specialist drilled the temporary fillings le chabot just put in she drilled n poked n pulled on me for about 2 hours trying to get the tool out of my root of my tooth. The specialist cannot get it out so I have it in my tooth for seven days they want me to come back to try to pull the tool out again that's stuck in the root of my tooth all I wanted was a root canal so they paid the $300 for the consultation and refunded me my co-payment for the root canal since they could not do it the specialist and not take the piece of the instrument out my tooth and so now I have to go back just so they can try to take it out again this is too much pain and suffering when all I wanted was a root canal that could have been done in one day I went out to the club the other night went through the metal detector and it was going off and they couldn't figure out why so embarrassing. I used to love the dentist now I hate the dentist

Went to see dr lee and I needed a tooth pulled. My tooth was infected as well. He gave me antibiotics then the lady from the front desk asked me to pay $680 on top of the $400 my insurance provided to pull my tooth. I dont remember what the extra $180 of $680 was for but $500 was for something he puts into the hole after he removes a tooth to keep you from getting an infection. Sounds good doesn't it? Unfortunitly, I currently have an infection, and he gave me a prescription for antibiotics, then wants to charge me to put something in my mouth to prevent an infection that I currently have? He refused to pull my tooth becasue as the receptionist repeated several times, "Hes a board certified specialist" and he has to do this. So basically the tooth's still in, still in pain almost a week later (Becasue I cant get an immediate appointment with anyone who carries my insurance) Basically he just wants money! Cares more about money! $400 wasn't enough, he needed $1050 to make pulling a tooth worth his wild. He would rather keep me in pain then pull my tooth. Sounds caring right? Stay away from him. Been going to him for over 15 years but hes changed and hes turned greedy it seems. Finding a new dentist. Oh, he did give me a referral though to a dentist in Alameda of all places. Couldn't even get me one close. Who by the way doesn't have an appointment available. Appreciate it, thanks a lot. I'm also reporting this to my insurance.
