Did I die and go to heaven? I may have! I just moved here from ATL and have been looking for some crispy AF chicken. First, the young men working there were SO KIND. So kind. Walked my sweet tea over, cleaned the tray away for me, and just had good energy. Second, the sweet tea was on point. I took a sip and it reminded me of home. Third, the damn chicken sandwich was BOMB so much chicken and it was crisped to perfection. Dear lord. I'll be coming back whenever I feel a lil homesick.

Chicken sandwich was pretty good but definitely didn’t live up to the hype. The honey glaze made everything taste sweet while not bringing enough heat. Pickles were sweet and not acidic. Overall, texture was there but the flavor balance was off. Mac and cheese was solid. Just go to howlin’ ray’s if you’re looking for the best chicken sandwich in town.

The chicken looked like a shoe. It was huge. The breading part was crispy. The bread, coleslaw and chicken bites combination was gross, it was all mushy. No crunch from coleslaw.
Also $33 for 2 sandwiches was way too much. No fries. No extra sauce. We got napkins.

If they make just breast tenders with that breading I will come back. Otherwise Dave's Hot Chicken!

Quality food and good flavor.

It would be nice if they added a little salt to give it a savory taste.

The sweet glaze is good but a little too much.

The corn ribs are delicious.

Fried chicken sandi.frigging amazing and HUGE! Nibble around the edge, honey dipped "chicken fried steak ish / (chicken) " on a bun -with crunchy slaw.
Brown butter cookie, also amazing, yet couldn't fit more than one bite after that huge sandwich. Excellent!

Everything we had here was delish! The corn ribs are a def MUST try! Reminiscent of Mexican street corn but u eat it off the spine like a rib. The watermelon salad had a mash up of very interesting flavours that made it delish and refreshing. The chicken sandy is BOMB, crispy, great portion with delicious pickles and slaw, and I like that the chicken wasn't toooo sweet, but it coils stand to be a bit spicier. I found the chili got lost in the other flavours. But I'd still highly recommend Le Coupé and will def come back! The staff were very friendly!

Very good and very fresh sandwich. They give you a crazy amount of chicken. Next time I’m just gonna cut the extra pieces off to eat as tenders; the bites of chicken/bread/pickles that are of the perfect ratio are really great (I got without slaw since I’m not a Mayo guy). The sweet pickles offset the chili of the chicken. Staff very pleasant too. And it was pretty crowded on a Wednesday night, I ate at the table outside.

I got the sandwich, corn ribs, and creme brulee. The sandwich is really hard to eat because it's so huge and messy I'm not sure how I feel about the thigh meat. Honestly I prefer breast meat but the flavor is really good The corn ribs are really good too but my favorite part of the whole thing was the creme brulee Oh my gosh. Wish it was closer it took me 40 minutes to get there and 30 minutes to get home and I'm only 11 miles away but that's what living in LA is all about right stupid traffic & dumb drivers.

Le Coup’s Fried Chicken Sandwich: A Symphony of Spicy and Sweet Flavors

Entering Le Coup in Los Angeles, you’re immediately struck by an inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The star of the show, their Fried Chicken Sandwich, is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The chicken, encased in a light, crispy batter, reveals a subtle yet tantalizing spice that dances on the palate. This gentle heat is masterfully balanced with a drizzle of honey, creating a delightful harmony of sweet and spicy. The chicken itself is exquisitely juicy, ensuring each bite is rich in flavor and texture.

What elevates this sandwich to five-star status is the thoughtful composition of each component. The traditional lettuce is replaced with a delectable coleslaw, adding a creamy crunch that complements the chicken’s spice. This coleslaw is not just an afterthought; it’s a blend of crisp vegetables, bound by a dressing that’s both light and flavorful, enhancing the overall experience. The brioche bun, soft and slightly sweet, is the perfect canvas for these bold flavors, while the side of expertly seasoned, corn ribs completes
the meal. Le Coup’s commitment to a perfect balance of flavors and textures in their Fried Chicken Sandwich makes it a standout in the LA food scene. This is more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of taste that leaves a lasting impression.

You have probably heard of Le Coupe via social media, and to be honest, they have the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Their honey dipped fried chicken sandwich surpasses the very mediocre school cafeteria style chicken sandwich that Chic-Fil-A offers.

On my visit here, my girlfriend and I ordered a fried chicken sandwich, potato salad, mac & cheese, corn ribs, bread pudding, and sweet tea. Everything was delicious. The food at Le Coupe may be pricey, but it's definitely worth it.

+ Tasty Food
+ Service was quick
+ Friendly Staff
+ Mellow vibe for the small dining room.

- Parking can be a hassle to find.
- No public restroom

Tips: Make sure to order the corn ribs. They are absolutely fantastic.

Incredibly delicious food! Really friendly service from people that love what they’re doing! The corn ribs are phenomenal! The seasoning is tasty and the queso fresco makes the ribs as tasty as your best esquites. The chicken sandwich is amazing and it’s so big it can be shared. The spiciness of the sandwich is minimal but packs a lot of flavor. The slaw in the sandwich is nothing short of incredible. Juxtaposing the tangy slaw with the sweet fried chicken brings about a taste explosion! Believe me on this! Their root beer is incredible too. Le Coupé is the real deal. The shop is small so you may have to wait to be seated. Meter parking is available.

They are closed today. Came all the way from Vancouver. I’ll be back for a full review. So sad.

The food is delicious, chicken sandwich and corn ribs were really good.
You may have to wait some time to sit at a table on peak hours/weekend.
Overall would definitely recommend giving them a try!

Wowwww oh wowwww, this place is amazzzzing. Seriously good chicken, a lot of meat, and very crispy breading. Must try spot on LA. Best value you can find, $15 for a sandwich so big it could be a competitive challenge to finish.

The absolute star though was the blue corn bread. That is literally to die for. Stop what you are doing and come try this place.

This restaurant sits on a very busy section of Western in Hollywood. Parking is null and void. You may have to park a block away but the food is worth it.
Chicken sandwich is HUGE. It's enough for two people. It's very tender and moist and crispy.
Watermelon salad is delish but I wish the watermelon pieces weren't as big and bulky because the toppings easily slide off.
The cornbread is dry but the butter with it is excellent. On a better cornbread, this would be amazing.
Chicken skin chips are good but I wouldn't order them again.
Creme brulee is divine.
Chicken thigh by itself is HUGE and it takes two for me.
