Beware, switch bate on reservation.they're under construction so most of their facility is inoperable, don't worry they'll let you know when you get here.

Called for room service twice with complications

Room is ok. View includes a covered pool under construction. We were also warned that noise will be starting at 8am. What kind of joke is this.

Ordered a fruit ball which is $13 on their scanned bad code menu, I had to pay double plus a $5 delivery fee. Another joke. The ball was great though and the gentleman that helped was great.

Staff was friendly so far.

90s vibe is turning into a modern/60s/70s vibe. New side of the hotel is new, still smells like paint. Lot of pink in my room, consistent with 1960 era. View has a bit of beach. Pool under construction.

This was a very enjoyful stay especially with so much helpful service from Ricky, Manuel, and Jesus who were offering assistance whenever it was needed this was probably one of my best stays at a hotel, there was so much room by the pool, that’s one thing that was a bit of a bummer that the pool was being renovated but otherwise this was a spectacular hotel.

Stayed there for 6 nights, on the third night the room started to smell paint, giving me, my wife and my child headaches. Add to that windows that don't open, and you're getting a gas chamber. This hotel is a health hazard, and a construction site. Nothing of that was communicated to us before our arrival - it's a scam. Would have never chosen this if I was warned.

Fantastic hotel with an amazing staff. They are very attentive and the new remodel is looking fantastic. Can't wait to see the outside area and lobby get finished.

No mention of huge and noisy construction going on, not to mention no pool. Shady behaviour on their behalf. Don’t stay here if you like peace and quiet or swimming in a pool, like the one on the front page of their website. Huge disappointment!

Stayed at this hotel in July as a business traveler. The location of the hotel and the facilities near the beach are ok, but in my opinion the prices are not a good value for money. I paid $2500 for 3 nights. The room was well equipped and was only cleaned on the second day after request. I found it underground for the price. Our windows with a side sea view were so dirty that you could only vaguely see the Ferris wheel. The icing on the cake came after we left with the credit card billing. It was charged three times at $7,500. I then had to make several phone calls to the hotel management until they sorted it out. For me once and never again.

Nice place, nice location with water front access. Not much of beach. It looks little old and has seen its glory. Staff are friendly.

A fun flashback to the 90s, now starting a complete remodeling. Get the retro oceanfront experience while you still can ;)

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. This place deserves a four and a 1/2 star rating. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are very nice and spacious. There are renovations going on now the new rooms are so beautiful. Prices are so very reasonable here you get more than what you pay for. I recommend it highly. The staff here is wonderful, welcoming and professional. The weight room, the pool, the outdoor games just a great place. Every time I stand Santa, Monica, I will stay there. Run to it don’t walk. Everything for rooms and service just fine. But the thing is that it may not worth for what it costs.
If you are a Marriott member for free breakfast. They only do 2 free continental or 40 dollars equivalent. Make sure you order the right one. The front desk is telling the different thing than the restaurant.

I was here from August 17th - August 20th. Cozy, clean, luxury, great staff, great food, beautiful pool, gym area, right off the beach! 10 out of 10. Every Staff member that I've interacted with was kind, caring, knowledgeable. Rooms are big, clean, etc.special shout out to Nicole and the bar staff at the lounge area. Drinks are amazing, staff is friendly. There was construction; however, I DID NOT HEAR any the whole time I was here.and I slept in late. Only 25 mins to downtown la/hollywood blvd via uber without traffic. Lol. I will come back in 2024.

We had an item taken from our room, which has never happened before in hundreds of Marriott stays. We have called multiple times to pursue, and every time (4 thus far), we have been told someone would call us back. Not a single call back.
We upgraded to a "suite" (we have a lottttt of Convoy pts) and we received a completely standard room facing the patio.

The front desk staff is well trained, the hotel is meh, the gym is good and the location is great. I will never stay here again, though, b/c I can't trust leaving my belongings.

[We honestly thought they took my dress by accident (eg in the laundry), but nobody cares, nobody will call back and we have no leverage.they got their money (and my dress!). ] Hugely disappointing.

Excellent location for the beach, Santa Monica Pier, shops, the promenade, and various walkable areas. Very clean bathroom, comfy bed and pillows! Very kind staff! Lovely seating inside and outside. The gym has everything you need for cardio and weights. Highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Le Merigot for the first time this past weekend. The hotel is located right by the beach. We have a great time at the hotel and want to highlight Leslie and Clarence. They were both at the front desk throughout our stay. Leslie got us an early check-in and was very helpful with our room assignment. Clarence assisted us at check out as well as the evening before. He was very pleasant to talk with and recognized us at checkout. Its staff like this creates a great experience for guests.

This hotel is a decent choice. It does have a 90’s vibe and looks like it has not been updated in quite some time. The beds are comfortable. Getting extra pillows isn’t a problem and the AC actually works. We had a nice view of the boardwalk and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Our room was big and clean but the layout was unfortunate. The closet is tiny and couldn’t accommodate my luggage. There are no tables or surfaces to put your suitcase on, so you will be on your hands and knees on the floor. I noticed the same issue for other families who left their doors open and had luggage sprawled all over the place. The bathroom was good but there was a large step down from the shower and no sign. The toilet is also very very low so my room would have been bad for anyone with limited mobility. The sundries in the shower all smelled nice. They were doing construction so we were up with banging at 8am. There is no gift shop but we did pay $18 for two small cups of milk. Also, parking was $227 for two nights. That seemed a little excessive to me. But overall, this hotel is comfortable. It’s pretty on the inside and all the staff were fantastic!

Le Merigot is a lovely hotel, that is a short walk away from Santa Monica Pier. Our corner room was very large and spacious. We had a wonderful view of the ocean, the pier itself, and the pools. The hotel is very clean, and feels luxe. The room service was excellent. We had great time overall, and would stay again!
