4 Alex and Ashley are tremendous assets to the team at leading edge covering everything administrative sales and growth.
Manager of the facility, Tim, keeps everything in line and on point with the avionics work, the upgrade and the engineering, and planning all on time, while at the same time making it appear effortless as if it’s just another day of excellent customer service.
Mike Bilby, who spends most of his time these days at the Chino Airport facility (KCNO), what is not only there to answer just a couple of operational questions during regular hours, but even on the weekend following our return to our homebase.
Catherine Brewer provided an estimate for some additional work, and an upgrade to an altitude preselect component in a timely manner with a very professional presentation.

Started out with Mike Bilby on the phone regarding panel upgrade. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Tried to use Leading Edge Avionics at their Chino location, but no luck. These guys didn’t have the time to take a new customer or just have poor skills at calling customers back. I stopped by and talked to the lady at the desk and she had me fill paperwork out with my info and my avionics issue. Then she introduced me to the tech guy Ron who listened to my explanation of the issue, took notes and said he’d get back to me after calling the supplier. A week went by and no call back, so I drove over and stopped in again. This time I was told that Ron doesn’t usually show up until after 10am, so
I gave this guy my info again and he said he’d have Ron call me when he showed up. Nope, never called me.
Oh well, luckily there’s an avionics shop only 1 minute across the parking lot (Affordable Avionics) so I went there and they were excellent. My plane is fixed and it was less than half of what Leading Edge’s guy was guessing it would cost.
Don’t waste your time with this place!
Had a great experience with all the staff at leading edge. Took my archer in for gps and ap upgrades. They had it all done when they said it would. Staff even met me on a Saturday to test and pick up. Something wasn’t set correctly and Zach spent a few hours (on Saturday) making it right. As with anything in aviation…. You really get what you pay for.
