Leading Note Studios - San Marcos

Just had a great recital, the staff really went all out to make the kids feel confident and special for their performances. You can tell how much they care about their students!

All four of my kids love taking lessons at Leading Note Studios! Two take piano and two take guitar, and they are all excelling because of the encouraging and positive environment at this studio. All of their teachers are amazing and take a personal interest in them. The recitals are such a great experience for them and they have gained so much confidence. My daughter has also participated in the theater program and had a wonderful experience. She and my oldest son are excited to do the musical theater class again this Spring. Customer service is wonderful and everyone is always very kind and helpful. We are so thankful for this studio!

We tried two teachers in this place. One was nervous working with children, and the other was impatient. So, we decided to withdraw our children. Since we had to give them a 30-day notice, after the notice, we still had four sessions left that we had paid for because we were on Autopay.

When we went for the third session, we realized that we were already replaced with another student. When I talked with the front desk, they said, "There has been a mix-up. You can have your lesson half an hour later as luckily the teacher is free. " After half an hour, we finally went in, and in the middle of the class, I received an email saying they charged us for a "drop-in" lesson.

After the session, I asked the front desk (later knowing the girl was actually the owner's daughter) about the charge. Instead of apologizing for such an obvious mistake, she tried to convince me that I had been undercharged for other sessions while I had been on Autopay from day 1. Unbelievable, right? Honestly, I had never been in that situation before, and I was shocked by that behavior. I hope one day she understands how to treat a customer. This place is just a heartless business that has nothing to do with the spirit of music.

We love Leading Note so much. The theater program has helped my child find something he really enjoys! And he loves his music teacher so much too! We have had an excellent experience here.

Both instructors for our kids have been amazing for drums and guitar! We are so happy with the quality of instruction and the communication!

My kids have taken piano, guitar and musical theater and we love all of them! Each of their instructors is great, both in proficiency and in their attitude! Because of Leading Note, our family is loving playing music together, and as a pastor, I’ve even had the opportunity to play music with my kids in church!

Incredibly talented staff. The atmosphere is happy and creative. Always willing to find an available spot for missed lessons and to work with any schedule modifications.
