As a fellow gardener and plant cultivar with very high standards; my first impression of this shop was a wide smile. The plants and cacti are in beautiful condition and the prices are beyond fair. If its a giant ornamental arrangement or handmade art to accommodate your home look no further. Seriously. This has been a family run shop for 36 years and out of dozens of nurseries I've visited from Newport to Santa Monica this is my favorite. Will stop here every time I visit LA. Plant enthusiasts this is your haven.

This place is awesome. Terrific selection of plants, succulents, some bonsai, fiddle leaf figs, orchids, planters and decor. The reviews and photos online don’t do this place justice. We didn’t end up purchasing anything, but had our eye on a few things.

Note: The parking situation is a bid odd, the lot says $15 but unsure of that also applies to customers who are coming to only visit the store vs walking down to the Pier. Instead we parked for free in the large garage down the street.

Despite having lived nearby since The Leaf & Petal opened in 1991, I had never been inside before. A couple Sundays back I needed an arrangement for a special occasion, but my normal go-tos were closed. I called Leaf & Petal and was told, "Yes, we can make you something. " Ten minutes later I walked in to find a beautiful arrangement being put together. When I asked for some changes, those were done immediately. Most importantly, the flowers lasted a long time. Also, the owner (I think she's the owner) is really great to work with. A+

Extremely helpful, friendly owners; amazing selection; reasonably priced; amazing service. Went above and beyond and gave me a free delivery because I lived close.

Wonderful store. We visited with the COVID test site next door so we had to park next to a gargantuan Lexus in a charging station spot. The family who runs the store is extremely helpful and have been in business for the better part of 30 years. We bought succulents and a peppermint plant. Wonderful service and reasonable prices.

Best plant store I’ve ever been to! Tremendously affordable, amazing selection, healthy plants, great atmosphere, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff!

This place really exceeded my expectations throughout the whole service. They have great customer service and friendly staff. I went here to buy a bouquet of flowers and send it to my mother since I was outside of the coutry. Nothing to complain about. I am very happy and my mother too. The price is very affordable and they have free delivery. Thank you so much!

The woman at the counter was experienced and extremely kind. The place is an enchanted forest. Every plant looks so happy to be there and cared for. I highly recommend this place.
