Learning Math with Brian, Winchester CA

Brian tutored my son last year in AP Stats, and I couldn’t ask for a better tutor! He answered my son’s questions clearly and patiently, had well-structured lessons, and provided additional practice worksheets that my son found very useful. They went over test taking strategies, which helped my son feel very confident and prepared for the AP test and earn a 5.

Brian is an incredible tutor! He’s kind, patient, and thorough, always pushing me to understand the “why” behind the problem. He brings in very useful questions and resources which help uncover the tricky parts of the material. Could not recommend more.

Brian was my tutor for calculus and really helped me when I was struggling! He was very patient and took the time to make sure I understood how to do everything myself. He was easy to work with, quick to respond, always kind and supportive. By the end of the class I felt much more confident and even enjoyed some of it! Would highly recommend working with Brian.

Brian tutored me throughout Stat 134 at UC Berkeley which is an introductory probability class. He is most probably the best tutor I have ever worked with professionally or as a student and gave me ideas on how to explain material to my classmates in other classes since I don’t officially tutor anymore. Overall very nice and understanding, has a great grasp of the material, and knows how to draw you in the right direction without giving you answers unless it’s needed.

Brian tutored me in Stat 134 at Berkeley (a course he designed most of the materials for) and was INCREDIBLY helpful in building understanding. Brian's lessons are both challenging and encouraging. His notes and examples make it so much easier to understand tough topics. He was my tutor for two semesters, and I went from struggling with 6th-grade algebra to getting an A+ in Calculus 2!
