Legacy took care of cremation details for my father’s recent passing in August. We appreciated this service and the answering of questions we had regarding how this process worked. Thank you Legacy!

Nick did everything he said he would and met our expectations. Missing one star because; Weekend services were an extra charge.and. We didn't know how to arrange a burial with honors. We told Nick that our Father was a veteran but he didn't offer or mention how to arrange a burial with honors. Finally we asked him and he said yes, he could do that. I would recommend Legacy Funeral & Cremation Care to a friend.

6 years ago I can say I was
pleased with service. Boy has that changed. I would not use them or recommend them. Passed clients had the experience I had 5 to 6 yrs ago. Now, no
customer service at all, no in person, all by remote sales and after 2 weeks with no success in getting
Forms done correctly. They gave me another sales person. Wrong move. Never
any communication from
a director. Even though requested several times. Done with them.

The care Legacy gave my husband was such a blessing. I have never been through anything like this. They took care of everything with the VA. Gave him the most honorable and beautiful service. They have checked up on me for mental and emotional support and treated me like family. I was terrified of what funerals might cost having never been through this and they are exceptionally affordable. Especially for the level of care they provide. I will be forever grateful for everything they did for me during the hardest time of my life.

Legacy Funeral and Cremation provided my family with excellent service. Nick Bermudez not only treated us with kindness and professionalism, but handled our requests for the treatment of my brother with kindness and sensitivity. Our options for urns and pricing were easily accessible and we found the perfect one for my brother, at a cost that fit our budget. For such an emotional situation, I'm so glad we had Legacy to provide the service we required.

I debated on leaving a review back when my brother passed in February but I just chocked it up to my emotions, until today. When my little brother unexpectedly passed away in February, we needed to make arrangements. I live in Alaska and I had to take care of his final arrangements remotely. I called, explained he was at the coronors office and that I needed to send someone down to take pictures or video chat me, as I needed to visually see it was my brother. (Yes, he was identified via finger prints but I needed to see him). The only information we had at this point was he was found in a less than ideal place and his identity was verified. I let Phil know that I was going to have a friend drop off the urn I wanted his remains to be put in. I explained everything upfront. I signed the contracts and paid the money required. I checked in a few days later to see if they had picked him up from the coroner so I could send a family friend down so I could visually verify my brother. He then informs me that he would have to charge a few hundred dollars more for that even though I was very blatent about it from the start. I was not happy about this and expressed how I felt. He agreed to take a few pictures himself and email them to me before the cremation process started. To which he did, and I do appreciate. I took what I could get, as I was over 4500 miles away. My friend was coming down a few days later to drop off the urn, which I told him about from the start. He then stated he was going to have to charge me even more money for pouring his ashes in the urn I was providing from the start. At this point in time, the communication was severely lacking, several misteps had already happened and I felt that I was being extorted as I was handling everything remotely. It made the situation that was already very hard to deal with, even worse.

Today, Nov 1st. I get am email from Phil with someone elses death certificate attached. For those that dont know, all of your information is on a death certificate, and I mean ALL your information, so in the wrong hands, it could have a disasterous outcome. I emailed back and asked why I was receiving such information for someone I dont even know, containing all of this persons private information. He did apologize and stared how he had no idea why I was attached to this email. I did call the decedants listed next of kin to inform them of this breach, so that they were aware as well. This is highly unacceptable and unprofessional, as what was in the email body was not professional either. I get it was meant for the crematoriums eyes and sometimes mortuary personel have a morbid sense of humor but maybe not put it in an offical email and proof read who you are sending vital information too. I definitely do NOT recommend them.
