LEGOLAND California Water Park reviews
15Had a great time. Long lines, understaffed, and not enough changing room for 1200 families, but great kiddo fun!
The reason we came was the wave pool it was closed, the sign that it was closed was posted inside the water park so you had no until you paid. The slides are marginal at best. Totally not worth the money. After the water park I wish we never came to the whole park and would never come back. We spend $1000s a year on sets and my son said he just doesn’t even want legos anymore. It was just a total waste and ruined legos for our family!
Very small and very crowded. There might be enough attractions to meet demand if at least half were open at the same time. Tiny wave pool was too crowded and the waves weren’t working for most of the time we were there. There’s an entire play area in the Chima section that was dry, as in, never open. The one slide on the other Chima structure had a 20 min line, this is for water slide that makes one turn before splashing down. The line for the lazy river in complete open sun was probably 30 min long. There was only one food location open, huge line. There are no coke freestyle machines at all in the waterpark to refill your park cup. Overall, not an enjoyable day for a family with small children. I would not pay extra for this, only go if you have a pass or special deal, and even then, not worth it on a weekend.
Been multiples times throughout the summer and there has always been multiple rides or areas closed even though the park was packed with people.
Great place to go on a hot day. The water park is a great place to hang out, cool off, and get wet. For kids and adults
A really fun place to take the family, great experience and great staff. My only complaint would be that the coffee shop didn't open until 2: 30.but they did a good nitro cold brew! Definitely a good place to visit (pro tip, use AAA to get discount tickets)
Great place for kids of a ages and adults a must go when in san diego.you won't be disappointed
First time visiting. It’s a Saturday in August, 2022. Park is way oversold. EVERY water slide, except “Riptide Racers” is “closed. ” We even made it to the front of the line for the Twin Racers when it just closed. No apology. No explanation. This happened multiple times throughout the day. My 8 year old was crushed.
The lazy river, also closed. The “Swamp”
Splash area, also closed part of the day.
For the money they are charging, this is unacceptable. Keep the rides maintained and pay your staff wages to keep up with the crowds!
Nice small local water park. I do wish it stayed open a bit more throughout the year. It's California. We don't have seasons. Lol
Fun for the kids. Not that big. About 3 waterslides, a wave pool, lazy river and about 2 water playground areas
A very disappointing place. I as reached the boarding area of orange slide, it was closed. And no reason or compensation was given. I was asked to get off a ride because I was too large for your ride. The lazy river was closed. And your pirates splash ride was also down for a time. When I was in line. It was way to ver crowded with double wide baby strollers and nylon wagons for kids who are carted around the park. Needless to say I was not very happy after shelling out $300, plus bucks for all this! I will not suggest this establishment to any of my friends or family. Such an disappointment.
Main pool closed, lazy rivers both closed small water slide for kids closed. Lifeguards screaming at kids for getting out of the slide area not fast enough some kids especially special needs kids get scared when screamed not a very fun experience!
Place has now so many different options for getting to the rides faster, and those who can't afford or has no idea had to wait a looong time to get to it which is kind of unfair.
Also kids were excited about the big water slide which sadly closed for the day. Would be nice to have these info in their website.
Overall good experience.
I'm a annual pass member and came here for the first time in a long time and I'm disappointed. Lazy river had a huge line because you are required to use a floaty. Water slides had long barely moving lines and there isnt much shade. On top of all this you have to pay to get in even after you pay to get into the main park
