Lelenitas Cakes Inc

For my birthday I wanted a traditional Nicaraguan Guava cake. So, I called Lelenitas to place an order a week ahead of my birthday. On the day of my Birthday I drove an hour away to pick it up. I was so excited. When I looked at the caked the decorations were sloppy, but I still had hopes that it was going to be delicious. I brought the cake home and the knife could barely cut through it. The cake was so dry and old, it was horrible. It was like cutting through cardboard. No one ate the cake. I called the next day to let the owner know about my experience. He did not care. I believe this place takes advantage of people that do not live in the San Francisco/ Bay Area. He is a rude man.

Love this place and its delicatessen. Pio quinto, pastelitos, fresco de cebada, coyolitos and more, much more.

Great pastry joint. If you love sweets then you should make a stop. Owner is a real standup guy. So check it out **

So. Bomb. Get pretty much anything. My favorite thing in the world are Lelenita's piña pastelitos.
