Lemke RV reviews
8 In 2020 I contacted Lemke RV- Consignment in Sacramento to inquire about selling my trailer through their business. I had zero knowledge and experience about this process.
To my surprise, I immediately got a response to my internet inquiry from John at Lemke RV. He was very personable and generous with his time, giving me a high-level overview of the process. He then referred me to Jerry who gave me a greater detailed view of how everything would work.
From the very beginning Jerry was nothing but nice and helpful. He provided me with a ton of information so I could decide if this course of action was right or not for me. I never felt any pressure from him to enter into this contract. The whole experience just felt like a good business relationship where we both could mutually benefit.
After exchanging a lot of data points, Jerry gave me a very favorable offer on consignment, and he even helped with some of the logistics of getting the trailer to him since I was in San Diego and the trailer was in Sacramento. It is challenging selling something from that great of distance, and Jerry really helped in that regard.
For various reasons, I was dragging this whole process out. During this entire time, Jerry was nothing but patient and persistent - without being a pest. These positive characteristics of his are very helpful for a customer who is struggling with a decision.
In the end I decided not to sell the trailer. Despite all the work Jerry had done on my behalf, there were no recriminations or words of disappointment or anger toward me - and they would have been completely warranted. He was so positive and understanding of my change of heart, and simply ended by telling me I could come back to Lemke RV anytime if I changed my mind.
Fast forward to 2022 and I've decided to sell the trailer - I'm ready. I contacted Lemke RV Consignment, got in touch with Jerry, and our business relationship just reconnected immediately. There didn't seem to be any resentment on Jerry's part from my earlier reversal, and everything proceeded quickly and smoothly.
Jerry once again wrote up a very favorable consignment offer for my trailer, facilitated all of my towing requirements and just made everything so easy. Everything was ready to go to complete this business deal.
It embarrasses and pains me to say that I once again pulled back from this sale. I know this reads like bad fiction or a fickle person who just can't make a decision, but life can just get messy sometimes, and it is definitely nonlinear. The time is just not right for me.
So anybody reading this now is probably wondering why I'm sharing this unfavorable view of myself in a review about an RV business.
The reason is because Jerry, and by extension Lemke RV Consignment, has been nothing but supportive and understanding while I worked through what, for me, was an emotional process - not just a business transaction. Jerry recognized that, and his subsequent actions tell me that he is more concerned about a good outcome for both of us rather than just what is good for him and Lemke RV.
I've reasoned that if Jerry/Lemke RV can treat a complete stranger like they truly care about them, and not just pay lip service to that concept, why wouldn't you want to do a business with a company whose value proposition is truly about quality service to the customer, and not just about revenue and profit?
Even though I never fully entered into a business contract with Lemke RV, I would do so unreservedly based on my experiences with them.
Thank you Jerry/Lemke RV for your kindness, help, and support.

I highly recommend Lemke RVs! They are professional, reasonable, and knowledgeable! Suzanne was very helpful!
Sue Anderson is very knowledgeable when it comes to the consignment program. Anyone interested in consigning an RV should contact her @ the Citrus Heights location. She will take good care of you!
Great place to consign your RV with! My travel trailer sold within a few weeks and I received exactly what I was supposed to when it sold. Very pleased with Suzanne and her customer service!
Complete incompetence. Suzanne "Lemke" Anderson fails to read emails and continuously spams my inbox for a listing I have. I have repeatedly asked her to act or leave us alone, but continues to tout their A+ rating etc etc. Zero communication, just empty emails. There are plenty of other choices out there. Do your homework and go elsewhere unless you enjoy taking a shower after you leave. Trust me, you'll feel dirty. Good luck, you've been warned!
Annoying sales rep.kip spamming may mailbox regardless of my request to STOP! This 5 star rating is 100% fake!
Thankful I found Lemke RV. Great family run business. The customer service is above and beyond. I reccomend them for anyone needing to buy or sell recreational vehicles.
Andy sold us a 2004 Pleasure Way we viewed on line this past week. We were nervous about buying on line and Andy put our minds at ease from the beginning. Through the negotiations, flying to Citrus City, getting is a room and being available the first night we drive back to Palm Springs, CA. He took a personal call to walk me through getting the electric hooked up right to run the A/C. I would personally recommend Andy to help anyone get into any RV that fits them with integrity, sincerity and as if you belonged to the Lemke family! Micah & Donna Hartung
