6As a previous branch manager I can't wait to get my library card and read! Today's the day! Hope that chainlink fence doesn't mean it's still closed.
Amazing library and great space. It is a bit smaller than other libraries but its got a good selection of books ranging from fiction to non-fiction. Its even got cds for movies and music! The area is nice and safe to take your kids, just either exiting or entering beware of the place next to the parking lot of it.
Clean, well organized, and a very friendly staff. It's also an incredibly welcoming environment. If I didn't have somewhere to be I would have taken a seat to read my newly borrowed books. The only negative I would give: it's a bit on the small side. Luckily, LA county has such a wide network of libraries that I can always go to another location if I don't find the book I'm looking for.
On a humorous note, it is right next to a strip club. It is LA (county) though, so I shouldn't be surprised.
