Lenny's Lodging, Big Bear Lake CA

I loved Lennys. I spent the night for my first Airbnb experience. Better than a hotel. Also, I ate at Lenny's Country Kitchen downstairs. Met Lenny. Loved it. Popular place and can get busy!

Stayed here over the weekend after new years with my wife. Big Bear in general was packed. Upon arrival we were greeted and taken to our room by Lenny which I have to say is friendly and accommodated our needs. Thank You for a Great Stay. We'll be back.

I stayed there the day after Christmas and had the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms are on top of a restaurant (beware of icy steps to get to the room) which is located steps from the main, and very busy, road in Big Bear. I booked room #5.and they placed me in room #2. The room was tiny, as in so small it really only had a full size bed and a bathroom sink (with no counter space). There wasn’t a hook, or storage space to hang a wet coat or put shoes, nor a counter to put a toiletry bag on. Literally a bed and a sink. The bed was under the window that was on top of the road. It was snowing, so large vehicles with chains on the tires roared by all night and it felt like they were driving right through the room. This place feels so poorly designed and planned and like they wanted to fit in as many units as they could to make money, without a thought about what would make it good for guests or what it would be like to stay there. It was also grossly over priced. There are many other places in big Bear with more space, better amenities, far less noise and less sketchy steps to get to the unit. I recommend looking elsewhere.
