Lenz Arts, Santa Cruz CA

Great shop! We come here to get our nicer pictures framed, but the entire place is full of incredible arts and crafts supplies. They do a great job. Gary was incredibly helpful and kind.

Lenz has everything an artists needs. Amazing selection of papers, paints, brushes-even erasers. And if you can't find it in there jam-packed store, just ask an associate.

Got custom framing ordered. The staff was very thorough, thoughtful, and friendly. Price was high but probably competitive. I didn't shop around.

This place is great. It's always been great. There is nowhere else you can go anywhere near Santa Cruz that has anything like the selection and options at Lenz. The staff is always friendly and, even though everyone doesn't know everything, there is always someone you can ask and get a good answer for all of your needs. The prices are a little high, but not inappropriaty so. It is a small business and they have a lot of inventory to help you out, and a lot of staff. That's expensive, and I get that. I'm okay with spending a little more to get great products from great people at a great store, and you should be too! Lenz is a venerable Santa Cruz institution, and rightly so.

Great inventory. Prices seem high at first, but they offer a lot of great discounts on most items. Great place to shop, I always buy more than I came for.

An employee that was blocking the door and looked like he was tweaking stared at me the entire time I was standing in line trying to check out, watched me pay, then stopped me at the door and asked me if I had stolen from the shop. I don’t need to steal a $15 notepad. Never coming back here.

Fantastic custom framing! I’m very pleased with how my custom frame turned out, and enjoyed working with the helpful staff to design it.
