Liberty Station Park reviews
13I very nice area to walk, although if you have any hearing sensitivity this would not be the place for you. It’s proximity to the airport makes for a very loud environment.
Harbor Greek Cafe was wonderful with delightful cuisine. Our group was impressed with with hospitality and tasteful cuisine.
Such a beautiful park and memorial to all the servicemen and women of our country. Playground walking trails relatively clean restrooms. Grass is super green super wet they over water.
Excellent views of the city of San Diego on one side and on the other wonderful views of the ocean along with Navy departing out to sea.
Great place to visit for the day with family, do a picnic, exercise, date, roller skate and eat!
My family and I have been coming here for years.it's a very spacious place, great for flying kites, and clean. To the day we've still not had any negative run ins. Parking is plenty, and close by. There are also plenty of bathrooms
This is a wonderful park with tons of space, and even though there are normally many many people here all day long, it still is not too crowded. I is fairly easy to enjoy yourself while still keeping good didtance from others. It is my favorite place to bring my dog and I think it's one of the best parks in San Diego, especially if you are able to let your dog off of the leash, because there are squirrels everywhere. Rabbits as well, they are just harder to spot. I come here and let my dog, Pirata, walk down the edge of the water chasing squirrels for hours, and I always see many people doing the same thing with their dogs. Pirata loves to run in the water after the herons and gulls. But if your dog is unable to run around off leash with a lot of other people and dogs around then come here after 8 or 9 p.m. And there are no people and tons of room. Maybe we will see you there! Also great for families and children, very clean and well kept, nice people and none of the issues you may have with other parks near downtown. Plus surrounding by all sorts of great businesses, and amazing views of the planes taking off from the airport.
Scenery.huge grass field.walking and biking paths.near by restaurants and shops.this place has it all.
Love the view. The atmosphere. The preserved buildings from the former Naval Training Center. (Memories)
And the people are very friendly and polite.
Wonderful time here. This is historical site now, it used to be a naval recruit training command (navy boot camp), now repurposed into shops, restaurants, and offices. I love it here, feel a strong proud connection to those who came before me.
43.5 years ago I started my Naval career here at what once was NTC San Diego. Long ago, but fresh with the memories.
Love it here!
With restrictions, there was no point in trying to get any service there. Everything was a forever wait. I'm not going back anytime soon. My advice is, unless your local, make reservations. No point in ad-hoc trips.
Beautiful park. Well kept and being next to the bay, was a perfect spot for an afternoon lunch picnic
