Tinah is a great trainer that progresses her clients to their goals with attainable, but challenging workouts.
However she has assisted me the most with her awesome massage practice!

As a personal trainer and athlete my body get tight and, stiff and sore. Tinah knows exactly how to target and loosen those knots. After her massages I always walk away refreshed, loose and ready to perform again!
Thanks Tinah! I’m looking forward to the next session!

The short version of this review is that you should train with Tinah. She’s an excellent personal trainer, and working with her will improve your life.

I approached Tinah early this year because I wanted to improve my overall health. I was turning 40 and not taking care of myself in any way. I was overweight, eating poorly, mostly sedentary, and constantly sore from bad posture and an unsustainable lifestyle. We are six months in now, and I know this will sound cheesy but it has changed my life. I won’t talk about the weight I’ve lost, or the change in the way I look, because I think testimonials often sound suspect (but if you want to know, it was a lot). What I will say is that I feel so much better. Carrying groceries, going up stairs, even everyday things like sitting and walking – all of it feels more smooth and less painful.

Tinah has gone above and beyond to work with me – she put together home workouts for me and helped me to find the most useful (and practical) equipment to have a home routine in addition to our in-person training. She has always been very flexible with my schedule and made me feel like a priority, even during chaotic times.

A big sticking point for me when considering working with a trainer is trust. It’s not easy to be really bad at something and ask someone who is really good at it to help. Having worked with Tinah for six months now, I can say confidently that she is worth trusting. In addition to the technical aspects of her work, like recognizing areas that need work and targeting them, keeping things interesting with a wide variety of exercises, and having a plan to move you forward in your training, you will also find that she is a kind, encouraging, edifying human and trainer.

I can tell that Tinah is excited for my progress. I can tell that she cares about my fitness and health. I can tell that she wants to push me to be a stronger, happier version of myself. I hope you consider Tinah if you are looking for a trainer. You'll discover not only that she is excellent at what she does, but also that she really cares about why it’s so important that she does her job well.

I have a 24-Hour membership and go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I stopped going for about 2 years when I heard about Tinah through my roommate. She was super supportive and understanding from the get go! She was really confident that she could help me achieve my goals and get me past my plateau, and now with three months of training, I’ve surpassed my max lifts on everything I used to do when I went to the gym alone. She’s so fun to hang out with while you work out and she’ll make sure that you’re comfortable while pushing you to achieve your best.

When I first started training with Tinah I had little to no experience in the gym. I never really worked out, I was definitely pretty out of shape and nervous to start training. I couldn't ask for a better trainer to ease me into the gym. Tinah is super encouraging. Whenever I think I'm incapable of doing the exercises she directs me to do, she pushes me and never lets me give up while also still being patient with me. I really enjoy working out with Tinah because we always do a variety of different exercises, it isn't the same thing over and over. Tinah makes working out fun and I never thought I would think working out is fun. Aside from working out Tinah has also helped me with nutrition. I appreciate that Tinah promotes moderation and doesn't force me to count every calorie and have a restrictive diet. I've been with Tinah for 3 months and I feel so much better both physically and mentally. I actually look forward to working out now! I highly recommend training with Tinah if you're looking for a lifestyle change, you won't be disappointed!
