Restaurant Lighthouse Cafe reviews
15Very bad attitude and bad service. I asked can I have ice coffee and a girl said no only hot, but they have ice machine. So it’s crazy!
Finally tried this place after living in San Pedro for years. When I walked in, I was greeted by Lauren, who took care of me the whole time I was there, and is the reason I will be coming back! She took her time to explain the specials of the day and give her recommendations. She took such good care of me and everyone else at the tables - she was the only waitress working but handled it all with ease. She knew the other customers well and they gave her hugs when they left, which really make the whole place feel welcoming. Thanks for making my day, Lauren:)
Terrible service I’ve never had an issue with this place and the service was just aweful! I had to wait 20minutes to be helped and watch them blow past me and one guy even brought menus to another table when they already had there food. One waitress said I’m busy by myself and never came back to help me and I watched her help other customers that got there way after me. I never thought I would have such an aweful time at this place that I loved so much! Very disappointed! So sad to see businesses change from they way they used it be.
Just moved a few blocks away from this wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The food was amazing and very large portions for a great price. If you are all the way West in San Pedro out by the parks you absolutely have to stop by.
Update 8/5/21 still a great local Jem but now it's been updated with fresh look and tvs for the sports enthusiasts. *See new photos
This place is Fabulous! The remodel is so opening and inviting! The San Pedro Vibe is definitely in the Building! Congratulations Lighthouse Cafe!
I heard you were closed please tell me this isn't true. I used to live down the street on 22nd, now live in Texas but visit and every visit i stop at this GEM. Please tell me this is temporary?
Wonderful! Please don't take away the Chicken Gyro.its my go to.and don't mess with the ranch.
K Thanks
Used to go here all the time and food was decent but customer service was hit or miss depending on the crowd. I've since transitioned to a vegan diet and wanted to still be able to patronize this quaint local business but I called tonight to ask the woman who answered the phone if she knew if the Veggie patty was vegan or vegetarian. She responded, "No" and literally hung up on my face! I was still holding the phone saying hello. So RUDE! Permanently lost my entire family as customers. Went down the street to Rex's Cafe and had an amazing breakfast.
Edited: I was upset when I wrote this review but ended up finding an item I loved, the Point Fermin pita. Hard to be forgiving with a hangup to my face but I love my town and I'm trying. Currently under new management so hoping for a better customer service experience.
Finom reggelit ettünk, hatalmas adagot adnak, finom shaket. Nagyon családias hangulatú a hely, kedvesek, segítőkészek az ott dolgozók!
Cute local diner. Great food.bacon omelet full of bacon, cheese, half avocado on top. Had with fruit and toast. Fresh brewed tea was perfect. Very nice host, he was pleasant and checked on us. Average prices for breakfast, definitely will return.
Place is a small cafe in a corner, food tastes like is homemade.i had the Chicken fried steak and it was delicious along with the home fries, the only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because of the coffee, was not great other then that is good food.
That was the best snapper sandwich I've had in 20 years. My server was great, too. If I am ever in San Pedro again, I'll definately come back!
This is a great family owned resturaunt. The service is very friendly and service oriented. Never have to ask for drink refills. I only go for breakfast, so can not talk about the full menu. I gave 4 stars only because the breakfast is traditional and parking is very limited (but there is nothing they can do about it). I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot.
Great memories of this place over the last two decades.
Returned today after several years absence with a party of ten. Arrived at 5: 15pm to lights off/doors shut tight. Sign in window indicates they are open until 9pm. No explanation/sign on door as to why they are closed. I hope this doesn't mean they have gone out of business.
Very disappointed as we came down to San Pedro from West Adams specifically to dine here.
Long on atmosphere not so on quality. Outside tables so close we couldn't not hear everyones conversation. One visit was enough.
