Peruvian Restaurant Lima reviews
14The only thing I didn't like was that they celebrated a birthday that day and it was very noisy.
The best mixed ceviche I've ever tried, wooo delicious, the fish, octopus, and shrimp in their lemon bath.what a delight. Highly recommended
The chef John Marquez has really brought Peru to Concord! I have reviewed and posted pics before. I just went again for drinks and the basil cucumber martini was perfectly refreshing!
Wonderful food, courteous staff and the owner is often present and really sets a nice tone. Clean, nice location.
A wonderful experience! Food and service were amazing. I ordered Leche de Tigre and it tasted just like the one I had in Peru a couple of years ago.
LIMA offers an enchanting dining experience that transports you straight to the vibrant streets of Peru. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary adventure.
The ceviche, a quintessential Peruvian dish, served at LIMA is nothing short of spectacular. Bursting with fresh flavors, the seafood is impeccably marinated in tangy citrus juices, infused with just the right amount of heat from the perfectly balanced spices. Each bite is a tantalizing explosion of textures and tastes, showcasing the chef's mastery in creating this iconic dish.
To complement the ceviche, I opted for a glass of chicha, a traditional Peruvian beverage. Its vibrant purple hue immediately catches the eye, and the first sip reveals a harmonious blend of maize, spices, and sweetness. It perfectly complements the refreshing and zesty nature of the ceviche, elevating the overall dining experience.
The attentive and knowledgeable staff at LIMA further enhances the dining experience. They are passionate about sharing their rich Peruvian culture and are more than happy to provide recommendations and insights into the dishes.
LIMA truly captures the essence of Peruvian cuisine, offering an exquisite selection of flavors and a delightful glimpse into the culinary heritage of Peru. Whether you're a seasoned Peruvian food enthusiast or someone eager to embark on a gastronomic adventure, LIMA is a must-visit destination that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy.
Service was excellent and well organized. Place was clean. Didn't wait too long for food. Food: fresh, authentic flavors, great portion size. I used to go to Limón in Walnut Creek but recently not enjoying it (plus their portions are too small for the price) and decided to try Lima. Glad I did! Definitely recommend.
Most food is great. I tried the roasted chicken thinking Oh, Peruvian Rotisserie chicken. But, no, it was not. It's just a plain lack of flavor chicken. We also tried the aji de gallina and the Lomo Saltado. I asked for chicha morada, and the waitress said they were out of chicha morada. A few minutes later, I saw a glass of iced cold chicha morada go by to a table that arrived after us.
Great place for a family outing. Friendly staff, great setting for outdoor dining experience. Beautiful patio and fountain within the same location.
Great quality food. Big selection of house made cocktails. Authentic. Good service. Sit outside if the weather is nice
It was a big family event (approx. 20 people) and our servers took care of everything my family ordered/asked.
I love this place, though it's a bit far from home. The food is tasty and authentic Peruvian. I totally recommend it, and I usually bring friends over.
This place is amazing! Every thing we had was so delicious. Beef tenderloin, empanadas, pork adobo, and a redeye with pesto basil pasta. The service was absolutely top notch!
Meh. Food is ok. It’s kinda tasteless. I wouldn’t want to pay the $28 for the lomp saltado
