Restaurant Limón Rotisserie reviews
22 This place really doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s absolutely always consistent and a lunch time or dinner spot that rarely disappoints. I’ve been no less than 30 times in the last few years.
I do have some apprehensions about the short rib being actually short rib and skillfully braised or sous vude chuck, but it’s a hit nonetheless.
The drinks here are some of the best in the neighborhood. The staff is diverse and attentive.
Casual enough for me to drop in solo after a workout and fancy enough for me to bring my next Hinge date, Limon is a twice a week stop for me and my favorite in the neighborhood closely beating Curio in a dead heat.
They overcharged me. My plate was 11, I ended paying $17.57. Too rush, not personal Too little food.
The food and service is always great and I feel everything is reasonably priced. Love the empanadas.
Flavorful dishes and friendly service but food was too salty, and quite pricey for medium sized portions.
If you're looking for a higher-end meal you will not be disappointed here. The food was top quality and the drinks all look great. I had the Limón's cup #1 and loved it. Definitely will be going back to try more of their menu!
We had a wonderful time. We've always loved this place, but we haven't been in awhile. If anything, it's better than we remember.
The food was really good as a whole we tried out the Yuka Fries, the Shrimp Ceviche, Ensalada Rusa and lastly the Chicharron de Pollo. The meal was excellent and the service was good not too pestering but also we didn’t have to search for anyone a good balance. My girlfriend who is vegan did try the ceviche and she loved it, the sauce that comes with the chicken is delectable. The Yuka fries if you can stop yourself from eating them while the chicken comes out is a great side dish, especially with the spicy mustard sauce that’s good on everything. The salad was good if you like a mix of beets, potatoes, green peas and the dressing wasn’t too harsh.
Definitely coming back to try out the empanadas and the truffle Mac and cheese, also the lomo Saltado.
Good food, good service, and loud vibes. They don't take same day rezos so remember to book in advance.
This place has the best Peruvian food in the all north bay area. They also have a very delicious Sangria. Even though this place is always busy, they have a great customer service and you don't have to wait a long time for your meals to be ready. I can't wait to visit them again.
Only the mac and cheese and chicken are good is you like soda the have inka soda its delicious cream soda
This place is really good. I’m not certain of its authenticity but the service and food always make me smile.
Their ahi tuna salad is amazing. Best lomo saltado I have ever had at a restuarant here in the US!
Food: incredible, tasty selection of seafood (we enjoyed the ceviche mix and the paella), rotisserie chicken, and veggies.
Noise: Our party of 6 was seated on the upper mezzanine level. The din of other parties on that level was so painful that one of our party left to purchase earplugs for the group. Worst noise level any of us have ever experienced in a restaurant!
Summary: 5* for food; 1* for noise.
Lived up to the hype! The half chicken comes with two sides, and we added an additional truffle Mac (delicious) and side salad which was more than enough for two people to share - we left totally stuffed. Highly recommend in this neighborhood! You can also book ahead on Open Table.
I am Peruvian and have eaten at over 20 Peruvian restaurants and this has by far been the best! So delicious and fresh. The flavors were unreal. I would recommend to absolutely anyone!
They're famous for their chicken and for good reason! The chicken was super well seasoned and cooked, however quite salty. Borderline too salty, but full of flavor. Their sweet potato fries were also really good.
Gteat salad and empanadas and the yellow dipping sauce that went along with it was very complementary!
My friend told me that the restaurant is very loud. I concur. This place is very loud. It was aggrevating trying to talk.
I ordered empanadas. They were about 4 inches long each and cost $9. The food was expensive.
The wait staff was friendly.
Incredible menu, truly excellent food. Gorgeous cocktails, friendly service, easy location. A bit noisey because it's so popular.
Juicy, tasty chicken paired with delicious sides - get the truffle mac and cheese, cold potato salad special and ceviche! Peruvian food done nicely.
