Lip Lab Irvine

Lip Lab is located at the Irvine Spectrum Center. This place a definitely one of a kind and a hidden gem. My family and I came here because we found out you can designed, name, and encase your very own custom made lipstick, lip gloss, or lip balm. Ayla helped us through the whole process. It was such a great experience. My wife made lip balm for herself and I made some Lipstick for my mama. It was really fun and Ayla was really making things easy for us and she was really sweet and patient with us and it was such a fun time. She even gave us food suggestions in and around the Irvine Spectrum Center. Go there and try something new and fun. You will enjoy yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely unique experience and recommend it if you are into lipstick! Design a lip color including your own lipstick case with a name!

Sarali made this experience so worth it! My sisters and I had a little girls day for my moms birthday and took my mom for an experience and Sarali definitely passed the vibe check. It was our very first time for all of us. We are not local so we were all very happy with the experience we got. Sarali was informative funny and patient with us and we honestly just appreciate her service. Overall I recommend you try this place at least once but you will be back if u go with Sarali.

I had an amazing time with my colorist Leticia she was so nice and explained everything each step of the way. As an autistic adult it's really comforting to know exactly what I'm doing and she made the whole experience from start to finish feel comfortable it's definitely something I would do again!

My number 1 tip: book your appointment as early in the morning as possible!
I brought my sister-in-law here for her birthday and we had the best time. We were the only people there and we were able to really take our time and have the full experience. We got to create our own lipstick color, scent and finish. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

I'm conflicted writing this review because I was super excited to create my own lipstick from lip lab ever since I saw it on Safiya nygaard channel create one in 2017. So when I saw they had one I was so excited. They were so nice took me in as a walk in and got me set up. They were also so nice taking the time to mix different shades till I found my perfect one. The only reason why I'm not putting a 5 star review was because my two shades are not exactly the shades I created. I get it they might not be exact but they aren't even close to it. So I'm sad I have two shades I won't use and end up in the lipstick bin of things I won't ever use. I was so excited to create them too because it's so hard for me to find the particular colors. So my advice would be when you come to pick up your lipsticks make sure to swatch them and see if it's correct. Since they also misspell the name on the lipstick too. I'm so sad I didn't check earlier.

My experience at Lip Lab was wonderful, the service was great, they created the exact shade I wanted for lipstick, however, I was disappointed in the final product as it did not come out like the tester sample that I created. If you’re looking for a opaque classic lipstick come here, but don’t come for sheer lipsticks.

Today I kidnapped by my daughter and mother for my birthday and treated to the lip lab. Liz was our amazing mixer/colorist/chemist and she was phenomenal. We all ended up with colors we love and had loads of fun. Liz is knowledgeable and friendly. You will not be disappointed.

Charlie was our consultant and she did AMAZING! Couldn't have asked for a better experience
