Husband was referred by primary care for pain resulting from surgery. At initial consultation, explained situation-that according to surgeon, he should have been healed so we suspect nerve damage as he was still in a lot of pain. We were looking for alternatives to manage his pain besides narcotics. Saw NP. At follow up appt two weeks later, was told there was nothing they could do for us. So, they apparently only deal in certain types of pain and what really is the reason for the low review is that someone could have told us over the phone. Instead, we take off of work for appointment and they charged us for the visit, only to be told they couldn't help us. Literally, that was all that happened at the visit.

I had a really nice experience with Dr. Kroopf - Ramirez. She spent a lot of time with me, listened and seemed to genuinely care. She reviewed my X-rays, explained them to me and offered options for moving forward. It felt collaborative and I really appreciated that.

Excellent staff, amazing doctor. If you ever get a back pain or an injury connect to the nerve system, Dr kroopf and her assistant Jazmine are the best to take care of you. My pain journey has changed amazingly since i started my treatment with Dr kroopf, They are always listening to patients. Thank you so much all of you. I highly recommend this office and I will definitely tell all my family and friends.

Dr. Kroopf is an amazing Physician. Her staff have been very helpful, kind and caring. I have been a patient for several years because of excellent care that I have received.

Dr. Kroopf and her staff are amazing. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. Dr. Kroopf took her time to listen to my issues and explained in detail the necessary steps to help alleviate my pain. Dr. Kroopf and her staff kept me informed at every step of the process, ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The difference in how I am feeling is night and day. I can't praise or recommend Dr. Kroopf enough.

Dr. Kroopf and her staff is always professional. I’ve never had to wait for my scheduled appointments to see her. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kroopf does not listen too well. Also, she is a ghost. Once you've seen her the first time, you will be lucky to see her again, except for procedures. She does not listen nor validate your pain and discomfort. I tried asking her for help, but she said she didn't take care of that and to make an appt with her P. A, but I already had spoken to the P. A.who said I would need to speak to the Dr. Kroopf when I came in. So, then I was told to make another appt. I refused, and the medical assistant was kind enough to say she would follow up for me and call me back. The following week, she did, and it wasn't even the right question or answer! So I had to wait again. They forgot about me. I called a week and a half later only to be told they were sorry but they couldn't help me. I was like, wow! No one even heard what I was saying! They didn't follow up with the other doctor they should have, then I waited so long and came to appts I didn't have to for nothing. And this was after I had a terrible reaction to a cervical ablation, to which they said, "My body wasn't handling it well, " but when I called my old pain mgmt doctor and researched it. I found this id not typical and was told if u find someone with more experience, this wouldn't happen. I've been doing them for 7yrs with another doctor, i never had that problem! It caused pain, headaches, more severe pain on my other side, pain in the back of my skull, and they refused me pain meds, of course. Then, when I ASKED for trigger point injections, they said, "Oh, yes, thats what i was going to suggest. " But they only did a couple of shots on one side. I've had 5 per side before, so, yeah. And the front office! Don't even get me started! They didn't want to answer question or give u paperwork they had right there. Every time I asked something, they would have me calling different numbers. Sometimes, you would wait10-20 minutes for a follow-up appt. But, I will give props to the medical assistants, and they have great customer care skills. They're very nice. Since moving back here the year of Covid, I've yet to find decent primary, pain, and gastro doctors. I'm not sure what Monterey County has come to or why doctor's forget they work for us, not the other way around!

I am very happy with the care from Dr. Kroopf.shelby & the medical assistant also took very well care and were very professional. Thank you for getting me out of pain and getting me back to my normal day to day life!

I had a trigger point injection performed on my neck by Dr. Kroopf yesterday. This was the most painful and uncomfortable experience that I've ever had with a doctor and it was shrugged off and even laughed at by herself and the assistant staff. After refusing to prescribe me ANY pain medication for relief and giving me this only option I felt that I had no choice but to move forward with it and trust the doctor's knowledge. I don't feel that my expressed pain level or long history with this issue was validated and false hope was given once again. I am now months if not years set back even further as a result due to physical and neurological symptoms and side effects brought on because of this. She was extremely rough during the manipulation after the initial procedure and minimized my clear, verbal agony as the pain radiated into my head. My chronic herniated disk pain and now reoccurring post concussive syndrome which took me many years to get over are now back in full force. I am disgusted to say the least and in no way trusting this doctor anymore. I will not be moving forward with any further treatment and will be back to the drawing board searching for a provider who hears me, cares about my future and well being, and doesn't give false hope/poor recommendations regarding the most sensitive and crippling issue of my life. I hope that nobody else has to go through this. There is no excuse.

Dr Kroopf is very knowledgeable, patient and proactive in her care for patients. She is cutting edge in the procedures she offers, focusing on health and wellness first and providing minimally invasive options to help her patients. She is very direct and to the point so you know where you stand and what is needed to make an informed decision.

My appointment was very rushed she did not spend a lot of time with me or go over all of my records/imaging reports that I brought. I had more questions and she was trying to walk out the door while answering them. She did not feel like she could help me, but offered patches she told me nothing about and the assistant said to think of them like an "investment" because insurance doesn't cover them which was unsettling to me. I did not have a good experience with this doctor. I wish more doctors actually cared about the patients who pay good money and arrange for child care etc.to come to these appointments just to be spent maybe 5 minutes with.

I would like to thank Dr. Kroopf for the amazing care and pain relief that she gave me. I would highly recommend her.
