Before considering this school, please read all of the reviews as you will notice that the school is under new management. Most, if not all, of the positive reviews are for the previous management. All negative reviews are for the new management, and we wish we would have paid more attention before enrolling our two-year old daughter here. Our two-year old daughter had been attending this school for two-weeks. She loves holding people’s hands, a habit that my wife and I find adorable but others may not, as we learned. Last week, my wife showed up during the outdoor playtime to pick up our daughter. Since she heard the kids playing outside, she peaked from the parking lot to see if she spotted our daughter. At that moment, my wife saw our daughter approach a teacher and ask her for her hand to hold multiple times, and followed her as the teacher ignored her and walked away from her. When the teacher saw our daughter follow her, instead of politely saying no or trying to distract our daughter with something else, the teacher yelled, “No, stop! ” so loud that my wife heard it from the parking lot. Keep in mind all kids were outside making noise. After the teacher yelled at our daughter, our daughter just crossed her arms. We understand that holding hands might not be possible, and we are not against saying, “No” to our daughter; however, we don’t think it was appropriate for the teacher to yell “No, stop! ” so loudly to the point that my wife heard her from the parking lot instead of either saying it politely or trying to distract her with an activity. To make matters worse, after my wife mentioned it to the Director, the Director and teacher gave us a different story that did not match what my wife saw. Even after my wife told them what she saw, they stuck to their story saying that our daughter had been crying and that the teacher quietly and politely told her to stop crying otherwise she would be tired. That is not what my wife saw and heard. Considering that we did not appreciate the teacher’s reaction to our daughter asking for her hand without crying or throwing a tantrum and the made up story that they gave us as an explanation of what occurred, we decided to withdraw our daughter. Of course, we’ve lost our deposit and are still liable for an additional balance as they require a four-week notice to withdraw. My wife also asked the Director for her supervisor’s contact info to file a complaint, and the Director pointed my wife to an email address that may or may not result in a response due to high volume according to the Director. After seeing other parents’ bad experiences, we are going to also file a complaint with the state as this new staff is not qualified to run this institution. I share this to help other parents as they search for a daycare/school for their little ones. Please read all of the reviews, especially those about the new management.

It's pretty much an over priced daycare verses a school. After just moving to the area it was pretty much the only option available for a preschool besides going the catholic preschool route. If I could go back in time I would choose the catholic school since lfm. Cost is just a little bit cheaper than catholic school would be.

Seems like they have a big turnover as my kid has been there since July is 2021 and has had 3 or 4 teachers whom parents haven't even been able to meet. Can't even view the class to watch your kid in school setting. If they would send parents pics thru the day that would be nice or post pics on a website so parents can view and see what's going on in the class room.

I'm really unimpressed with this so-called school

Little Flowers Montessori at Elk Grove is the best school ever! Both of my kids went to this school and I truly believe that is the most accurate choice we ever made. School was built brand new to provide kids a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Teachers are super sweet, caring, very organized and responsible for the kids. I have always been feeling very grateful about my kids being in good hands in LFM, all the teachers care about the kids and treat them just like they were their own kids. Special shout out to Ms. Fola, the director of the school. She has exceptional leadership skills, managing all the administrative aspect of the school very well and addressing all of our questions/concerns in a prompt and professional manner. She is very engaged with the kids, and always put the kids and school at the first place. I personally deeply admire and appreciated all her effort running a school from brand new to what it is today. My kid was the very first student attending to this school when it opened back in 2017, and both my kids grow in this school. LFM has a very strong academic focus, with advanced curriculum to well-prepared our kids for elementary school. My kid had been recommended to skip 2nd grade at one of the top-ranked private elementary school in Sacramento; and all credit goes to LFM! I cannot say enough great things about this school. Trust me, choose LFM at Elk Grove and let your kid shine here!

Rude staff when it came to calling for an inquiry once realizing my son was over the age anything else i had to say was dismissed and basically got hung up on. Not very professional.
