Little Mermaid Glass Bottom Boat reviews
8Really cool experience, took our party around the harbor all the way towards the montarey aquarium. Saw some fish, jellyfish, otters and seals along the way with information, like a tour. Guides were very nice. They made me try seaweed!
I couldn’t even rate it based on the boat ride itself. I gave it two stars considering I came from 2 1/2 hours away to try this boat out with my daughter for her birthday and they’re closed when it says they’re open. ONLY open on Saturdays and Sundays.
A nice quick jaunt along Cannery Row in just the perfect amount of time. We got see seals basking in the Sun, otters floating in the kelp and birds galore. We had a great time. Thank you!
This was a nice cruise along the bay coast. The captain gave good history of the area and passengers got to enjoy the views and ocean breeze. The captain made sure to turn the boat so both sides got to see the same things and get pictures. Lots of sea otters and birds to see. We had a great time!
This was the best thing we did while in Monterey! Intimate, the guides were friendly and knowledgeable, small boat so no over crowding, and probably the only time I’ve seen UNDER Monterey Bay! Totally different perspective than a whale watch, with great views of the kelp forest, sea lions, harbor seals and otters! So many birds! Moon jelly, sea nettles, even an elusive Mola Mola! 50/10 will ride again! Thanks ladies, for a lovely time!
This was great! The only reason I give it four stars is because there was nothing to see on the glass bottom except kelp. It was 30 min for $25 per person and you have to pay cash. The perfect amount of time if you don't want to see whales. We saw plenty of seals, birds, and beautiful scenery. The bay is beautiful but don't forget a jacket! If you do then there are plenty of gift shops where you can buy one. Thank you Little Mermaid.
They discriminate against people with disabilities I was denied access because I have a service dog in clear violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act Absolutely disgusting and deplorable
We did enjoy seeing sea otters, sea lions, and birds. But I don't think this is the right location for a glass bottom boat operation. The water was somewhat murky and the only time we saw anything below was when the boat brushed against kelp plants. The kelp was cool but we were hoping for fish and other sea life. Perhaps if the boat paused in the right spots we would have seen something. I also found the boat to have a particularly loud engine. I always like being out on the water, but I didn't think this was worth the money. Instead, pay a little more and take a whale watching tour from one of the local companies!
