Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot, Torrance reviews
21Good food, the soup base was tasty and service was very attentive! The oyster mushrooms were so good by the way. Beef is nice quality for the price.we did all you can eat and were full by the third round.
Customer service was very accommodating for my dog. We were able to sit outside. The ayce option was great too. The meat was fresh and the veggie soup base was very flavorful.
This place is so open and the staff is very friendly. I love coming here the service is great as well as the food. This is a great place to sit down with family or friends to just have a good time. I would recommend trying the half and half soup bases to try all the welcoming flavors they have.
Firts time that we have tried this place, food was good, the spicy broth was spicy! I just wish that the staff would have explained the menu a little better, that way we could have had a better experience, the food was good though, especially on a cloudy cold day.
Nice setup, good food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. I enjoyed the variety of flavorful condiments.
What a great deal for a delicious meal! We came in on a rainy Tuesday after months of driving by, I'm thinking due to the hot summer not being too ideal for a hot pot dinner but boy were we missing out!
First thing you notice is the modem updated decor with wood tones and ambient lighting. The booths are quite comfy featuring a sleek black tabletop equipped with an induction grill. Perfect for digging in to a 2 hour plus meal.
My eyes then centered in on the sauce station which had fried shrimp chips, sesame balls, cilantro, scallions, chili flakes, chili oil, sesame oil and even that Chinese bbq satay sauce just to name a few.
Then to my surprise they offered an all you can eat option for only $18.95! I mean come on people, there's no way you could do this at home at even triple that price with what all they had to offer.
We ended up trying the original broth which was surprisingly milky and deap in flavor. We opted to go with mostly seafood and it just made that marrow broth all the tastier as it continued to meld and reduce, Wow! Almost too rich compared to what I'm used to doing at home myself.
Taiwanese owned as of what it seemed like, overhearing the banter between regular guest and staff. Our waiter greated us with a warm smile and service was attentive for a weekday night despite all the negative reviews on Yelp.
All in all a great experience. Will definitely be back again. Oh and they have shaved ice for dessert too but who has the room for that after AYCE!?
The service is admittedly minimal, but the food was great! It is all-you-can-eat with 2 different broths. Their lamb and beef cuts were fantastic and the meatballs and veggies were good as well. The servers seat you, come by for your order which we filled out ourselves, and bring your food. If you are expecting conversation then you will be disappointed. Can't wait to go back!
Always enjoy eating here. The AYCE option is perfect for my hungry other half. Reasonable price, good selection fresh food and great staff.
I was here today for dinner with a friend and we both agree this hot pot restaurant is very, very good. The meats were fresh and vegetable were also fresh and clean as well.
We ordered the Ying Yang soup base which was awesome good.
And one more thing to point out is that they even have mouth wash. That is a very thoughtful because after all kinds of lamb, one needed it.
We will. Ring more friends back here on the weekday since the weekend usually packed.
No one seemed to be too interested in helping us, but we figured out what the deal was on our own. The food was very fresh and tasty and the place was scrupulously clean. Reasonably priced work our total bill being less than $40. Would go again and recommend.
I had no idea what this place was but the waitress was really nice and help us with evening, we got the all you can eat and omg it was amazing. We got the half regular half spicy and even at mild the spicy was way to spicy, the regular was the best. I will be going back
Unlimited meat is the way to go. Their service is great, and their condiments bar is always stocked
Best AYCE in the area for the price! With tip you're looking at about $30 per person for dinners and weekends.
Service is great and speedy!
Definitely returning in the future!
My bf and I got the spicy base and I liked mine (beef). He did not like the seafood so much and said the crab was imitation.
I like a mongolian place where you serve the species your self. The man who handles the spices was touching money before handling my plate did not wash his hand or wore gloves
Awesome experience! I definitely recommend this place. My personal favorite is the original broth but the spicy is pretty good too
Drove for 2 hours just to find out that it's not a all you can eat restaurant. They really need to update their info.
Took forever to be seated and they didn't even bring even bring my udon noodles. Plus all the people sat that were seated after us got food before us
Found a piece of black plastic in the meatball avoid avoid avoid! Worst place ever and still charged me unsanitary will never go there again
Service wasn't great but wasn't as bad as many other reviewers have experienced. Broths were good, unlike anything I've ever had before. Loved the meatballs and dumplings. Great variety. AYCE was $18.95 on a weeknight
