4 Excellent camp site, but some lots are on inclines so be aware of that. LO6 was on an incline.
Very clean bathrooms for a park
Good not great.
Pros:
Beautiful setting
Well maintained
The storage closet at each campsite is nice
The fire stoves are awesome
Hiking trails are well maintained with adequate signage
Cons:
Too many rules. Seriously, no alcohol? Can’t have a beer around the campfire after a long day of hiking
Bathroom facilities are limited and not super clean
The area to wash dishes leaves much to be desired.
The yellow jacket wasps are crazy
Overall it was a good time and I would recommend it. I’ll be back, but it’s not a raving 5 start review overall.
My Diablo is beautiful but our campsite 07 was infested with wasps. Not sure if it’s seasonal, but it was out of control. I know how to ignore them but my wife and kid stayed locked in the car until the sun went down
We loved our stay at campsite 2. Clean restrooms and right near the trail. ¡Viva Rock City!
