Came here with a friend with a reservation on Opentable.

Good:
- Very cute small place in Potrero Hill - I like the easily parkable location
- Fan of the SFPD and Romeo and Juliet rolls - really good flavor and I wanted more when I was done with both rolls - 4.5/5 rolls
- I thought the beef udon soup was average - but still nice on a cold day - 3/5
- Quick service - food arrives quite quickly to the table after ordering.

Bad:
- Nothing too special about the food or ambiance that makes me think "oh wow this is somewhere I'd definitely take my friends"

Overall just a solid Japanese place that's cute and decently affordable.

I went with two friends, got full off of sushi, appetizers, and free green tea and water, and paid $50 ($150 total). It's subjective whether that's a good deal or not so I'll let you decide. Everything I ate was really fantastic; the green tea was brewed perfectly and that's a must for a good sushi bar.

San Francisco is pricey, being directed to menu on SmartPhone was awkward, but second staff person did give us a paper menu.

Giving 5 stars for the food because I can't give 4.5 here. The service is outstanding.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while reviews seemed good but finally went with a friend other day and was very disappointed overall. Tuna tataki has been my favorite go to at sushi restaurants for 20 + years but have to say this was the worst I’ve ever had, the color and presentation was off and had a fishy taste and smell, didn’t seem fresh. The sushi rolls we got I don’t even remember the name but rice was warm and roll fell apart after dipping in soy sauce, was ok but nothing memorable to return for. The cooked spinach salad was very good tho. The waiter was also a bit awkward and over complicated ordering. I asked for a cold green tea and they asked if I want green or jasmine… usually there is jasmine green tea, but they said it’s just jasmine I really didn’t care just wanted a cold one then after all that I order green tea they brought me a bottle of jasmine green tea lol. Left hungry, weird and unsatisfying experience. Definitely won’t be back.

The unwelcoming attitude of the waitstaff really leaves much to be desired. The fish is fresh, the sashimi plates are reasonably priced, and the bentos are very average. I'm seeing the same experience from other non-5-star reviews. Disappointing.

The food was amazing! I am vegetarian and don’t eat fish so they didn’t have a ton of options on the menu for me but the waiter was very patient and helped me. Their Sushi was amazing and fresh, and so was the seaweed salad.

Had the teriyaki chicken bowl for lunch. They have generous portions and the food was delicious. The staff was also great and on top of everything. Definitely coming back!

They have some interesting menu items like the “scallop mini burger” but overall my experience here was mixed. The spider roll portion was tiny for the price and it was put together with an unusual combination of terrible ingredients. The nigiri is also very expensive for the portion size and the quality was only adequate, for that price I’d expect better. Finally, the second time I ordered delivery the order wasn’t ready when promised, and the delivery person had to wait 30 minutes at the restaurant until it was ready. I will not be ordering from here again.

Consistently excellent food. You're missing out if you don't order some things that aren't sushi. I always get the hamachi kama.

If you love the hand rolls @ Sugar Fish, you have to definitely visit since they opened Live Sushi Bar just for hand rolls. The wait can be a little long. Friday night wait was about 45 minutes but luckily they only serve hand rolls so how much time can one really spend dining in? I usually order the 6pc set and this is enough to fill me up. Warm rice, fresh ingredients, and crispy nori. I love Live Sushi Bar

Not fresh, not tasty. Bad experience for almost $200 worth of dinner and not ever going back to this place. Not reccomended. Not one sushi roll stood out and made us want to come back

This spot constantly delivers. They have fresh food for fair prices, there are no long waits even when the place is busy.

Love this place for rolls! I don't like to eat raw fish and they have endless options for cooked rolls. All the rolls looked very very tasty and they were! Everything else I ordered was super delicious as well. Service is great and I had a good experience here. Love the decor and ambiance too. Definitely going to be my go-to place for rolls.

It was my first time and a friend and I came for lunch around 12: 15pm on a weekday. Didn't have to wait too long, but the seating is unique. In a horseshoe shape everyone sits together so that you are rubbing elbows with strangers. The hand rolls were delicious, the photos don't do it justice. The seaweed paper was nice and crispy and didn't get soggy from the seafood. Left satisfied ready for a nap!

Simple. Simple interior. Simple menu. Simply tasty in a city that tends to always do too much. Glad I was introduced to this spot and I'll definitely be back a few times. #winning PRO TIP: it tastes better if you only use your fingers like our ancestors

E just inhaled our take out. This was our first time doing take out here at Kings Burgers/Got Sushi. We did so due to the current happenings with the CV. We were craving sushi and we love supporting our local restaurants)
The guy that took out order was really nice and was on point with our order.thank you! Sorry I didn't get your name (but young Latino guy).
