Living at NoHo Apartments reviews
18 Disclaimer that I do not and have not lived here.
That said, I’ve tried a couple times to come view a unit here and I’ve got to say the receptionist/ leasing office lady is the most off -putting rude person I think I have ever dealt with in any situation and I bartended during college.
Website says walkins welcome, walked in and told appointment only. Tried and schedule an appointment and wasn’t called back.
With even the slight chance that she is any indication of what dealing with management at this place is like I’ve decided to look elsewhere.
They are scammers. The amenities are poorly maintained. People will steal your mail and the building management will do nothing. They will charge you for their own failures to maintain the building. Do not trust them and do not live here.
I’m wondering why they didn’t call me back after I left a voicemail. I have called them and they answered, but didn’t come back on the phone. I also called them many times and they don’t answer. I just want to know what my application status is so I can move on.
We just signed on for our second year. We love it here and love the area as well. I saw some reviews about the roaches - sure, they were a problem on and off in our first year but the leasing office was responsive about it and we haven't had any trouble recently. I will say we don't love how the utilities are metered, as they are not based on each apartment's individual usage. Other than that, no complaints. The office has been nothing but lovely - which was a huge incentive for us to renew. Richard, Sofia, and Elise (sp?) have been a joy to work with especially.
Not a luxury apartment AT ALL. First off there are HUGE roaches and they do not up hold the law by spraying or treating the apartment. I’ve lived here for almost 9 month and I’m still waiting. Obviously we went and treated the apartment ourself. Everything in the building is broken elevators always down. Pool and gym hasn’t been open due to COVID, but homeless people are still enjoying the common areas and management isn’t doing anything about it. Leasing office is extremely rude and one of them even tried to walk in our apartment at one time she was going to view the apartment next door but went to ours on accident, I understand it’s easy to mix up but with my toddler in the apartment it’s not OK. She was very rude about her mistake and wasn’t apologetic at all. In fact when you call the office and she pics up she’s incredibly rude and as a caller you feel like your disrupting her day. Very unprofessional I wish they would get rid of her. Her name is Gloria:)
Extremely unprofessional. Scheduled an appointment here. No one showed up. No call to reschedule, nothing. Had to take the time off work to be here. Total waste of time. Rude and unprofessional.
Pros:
- Placed in a good part of Noho, plenty of restaurants nearby.
- Apartments are pretty nice!
- Shared community spaces are really useful.
- Pool/hot tub.
- Management are pretty good. Especially Sophia, she's always been friendly and helpful.
- Dog friendly!
- Amazon locker is in the lobby for any order you'll make.
- Gym included
- Really tall ceilings if you get a top floor apartment
- Decent sized balconies
Cons:
- Elevators break frequently.
- Pool is nice, but super shallow.
- My bike was stolen whilst in the secure parking garage.
- Gym is okay. I would recommend you keep your current gym subscription and use this part time.
- You're not allowed to personalise your balcony if your apartment faces the street, which is a shame because it's a part of our home which we pay for.
Nice complex with a good staff.
Units are very nice and it's pretty quiet all throughout the day.
Only thing I don't like is the carpet in the hallway. Dogs have accidents and then it smells for a bit.
We recently moved from Miami to Los Angeles and finding a home in such a massive city could be daunting and a bit scary. Enter our first encounter with Sophia - what a pleasure. She helped us through the whole process. It took about 1 month to process everything and eventually once all papers were signed we set off cross country for our new life.
We received the keys to our new home and couldn’t be happier. Throughout our time there any maintenance issues or problems were quickly resolved.
In terms of location the building is in a great walkable spot in North Hollywood. Even if you don’t feel like walking there’s an entire city within reach to fill your heart’s content.
No apartment building is ever 100% perfect but Living at NOHO is clearly a great place to call home. The staff is attentive and the building is always well maintained. We’ve enjoyed our time there and recommend it to whoever is looking for a great unit in an even better location.
Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Apartment wasn't "move in ready" until 3 months of living there. Multiple break ins to the parking garage without anyone ever caring or doing anything. Leasing office will lie to you about anything to get you to sign your life away. For sure wouldn't recommend.
The elevators also haven't been checked in the past 3 years so keep that in mind if you were curious about living at noho
I moved in about a month ago, and I am actually quite impressed. The office staff has gone out of their way for me. From making sure my packages were handled safely (and there were a lot of them!) to just being friendly enough to recall my name every time I run in to them. I also recently had two maintenance issues that were both handled in one day and much to my satisfaction.
HAHAHAH, place is a joke. I've lived here over a year, rent constantly goes up, people steel your packages, trainers hog the gym and they have the audacity to come up to you while using what ever piece of equipment and ask "Are you almost done, I'm with a client". Tat's messed up.
The staff at Living at Noho is really wonderful. They're always friendly, honest, and respectful. As far as the facility itself, it's really a pleasure to live here. Location is wonderful and I love my apartment. There's nothing I could truly complain about. Obviously there's things here and there that come up but the staff is always quick to react and take care of the issue. I'm glad I made Living at NoHo my home!
Great complex. I've never had a problem with anything any all these reviews mention. Staff is cool and helpful and moving in was super easy. They made everything very convenient for me then and are still doing it now. Thanks
There is always room for improvement.but we have noticed that new management has really stepped up their game. The leasing office has been much more responsive which is wonderful!
Pretty luxurious apartments, location is awesome, restaurants and bars downstairs, pretty young vibe around here, office staff is really professional and helpful and open 7 days a week for any emergencies
The management "Justin Davidson" is unethical and shady. He undermines due process and lies about the actions of his staff and security. The building is constantly undergoing construction, the elevators don't work, trash is always everywhere, and the place is full of young students due to their AGREEMENT WITH THE ART INSTITUTE to house their students. This place in one big dorm.
I've lived here for over a year now. I love it here, and the staff is great! I do notice a lot of negative reviews here, which I would take with a grain of salt. I would say the ones being critical are probably going to be the ones that don't follow the rules in general. I will be renewing when my current lease is up.
