LKQ Pick Your Part - San Bernardino

For anyone who is a car enthusiast like I am, this place is like a candy shop for big kids. For anyone who can turn a wrench and wants to save a few bucks vs parts store parts OR grabbing a hard to find part, this place is the place to be. I always enjoy coming here (or any local LKQ for that matter), even if it's just to look around.

What I don't like about this particular location is that they're never consistent on what you can and can't bring in. One time I go in shortly after opening with all my tools. I get what I'm looking for but still need to return for more. I make my purchase, get my return admittance ticket, and return. When being checked in the second time, the SAME staff member who checked me in said I couldn't bring in my angle grinder. I explained to him that he checked me in earlier in the day, that he had just checked me out (tool bag inspection) not even 10 minutes earlier and provided me my return admittance ticket, and that on the return admittance he wouldn't let me take in my angle grinder.

Customer tool policy needs to be consistent and clearly visible. This isn't visible anywhere.

Prices are way too high makes me not want to come back just paid $75 for a fender that's $40 aftermarket brand new

Printed off the wrong list of parts for my vehicle. When I returned twenty minutes later and asked for a new list, I got attitude. I purchased a steel wheel with a guarantee from the teller that if it didn't fit I could return it for another When I went to return it for exchange or credit, I got turned away since I didn't buy a warranty. I called the desk because the gatekeeper kept me out and they forwarded me to the manager which just took me to another teller. They are like dealing with Comcast; just a bunch of liars who push you off to another liar in the company. I would recommend you to another scrapyard but they are a regional monopoly.

I love the monthly 50% off days! And the parking lot IS so awesome, you might not even make it inside to shop!

Lots of cars but not enough VW, low inventory, very far away from the city up on the dusty dessert, good selection on Japanese cars and domestic, very easy to find the lines and sections all cars have a number

Fixed my car after a couple of trips down there and saved at least a thousand bucks. No complaints from me and that's a first. Ask my friends.

Spoke to Raul yesterday and was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed to do in order to go forward with the process of selling my car. Today I found Carrina and totally lost interest in doing business based on her very unfriendly demeanor and attitudinal tone/reply to a question I asked. Raul, you were great and thank you for being helpful. Carrina.maybe phones aren't for you.

It was awesome i called before i went.the attandent was very helpful about i was looking for when i got there front entrance employees very polite, it was very pleasant to go there

I have the LKQ garage App the location part is not correct or up to date. Been looking for a Certain SUV for months the app said not found, well yesterday I happen to go to pick up part just by chance looking 4 parts for another vehicle and there was the SUV that I have been looking for and the right year and color for months all the parts by then were taken it dropped 2 days prior. Not to happy!

Simple, bring your own tools. They won't help you much, and try to go early because the afternoon staff tends to get short with the customers. Also, if you do bring a part in to compare with what you find, be sure to get it marked when you enter because on the way out they'll try to keep your stuff.

It would of been a 5 star but the cashier guy had an attitude, I wanted to whip his ***. How hard is it to push CV the keyboard? He's young, needs to mature! That's all, thank you.

One of the cleanest LKQs that I have been to, it was nice in the sense that it had a large paved parking lot and greenry, very inviting

They are not good. Went to buy side glass frame for camper shell they said the retaining brackets were separate than the from frame. Manager and sales were not helpful and took me foe $10 more than should have been charged. Have to say if you can find aftermarket or elswhere you should go that route. Place is expensive too!

San Bernardino pick a part is the worst yard in the IE. No support for customer. 2ND biggest Yard in IE w/2 wheel barrells. 2 1/2 hour wait for forklift, parts truck only drives around at end of day to kick you out.

Tried to return Honda fender. Had receipt and perfect fender, they refused exchange or refund because I didn't purchase warranty, they never mentioned it when I bought the fender, felt it was bad business

Went to this location for a specific part and ended up walking a junkyard and didn't get the part

Love the pyp garage vehicle alerts. Tells you exactly where in the yard you can find the vehicle you're looking for.

Needs a little more up keep, But other than that I can usually find the parts that I need. Good price for parts, if you're not scared to get your hands a little dirty.
