Be careful when handing your reptiles over for pet sitting. They tried giving me my reptile back in a paper bag. I kindly reminded them that I would prefer the small terrarium that I brought her in with.

After a few minutes, the staff member came out with my travel terrarium but now it’s broken and the lid will not stay on. The best they could do was “don’t hold it from handle or it’ll break”. Yikes!

No receipts and kind of unprofessional.

All in all, I’m happy my reptile is alive. Will I be seeking other options when it comes to pet sitting? Most DEFINITELY. Be careful out there!

I have been here several times to grab crickets for my gecko. The staff is always super helpful and full of knowledge. They also have an awesome selection of reptiles and other creatures. Will always come here for my reptile needs.

This isn’t a bad store at all.the only reason i give 3 stars is because it’s so small with a lot of people inside.it’s kinda hard to look at any of the reptiles with people passing by.i hope in the near future they are able to move to a bigger place.but for now, it’s still good with GREAT prices.

We’ve been coming here for years for supplies for our other reptiles and finally bought a hatchling snake from them only for him to die within a few weeks despite following the exact recommended care regimen: (All they would say is “it just happens sometimes. ” I didn’t expect a refund but definitely a little compassion at least? Very disappointing all around and will definitely go elsewhere in the future instead

Devastated I had to put my barely 6th month old bearded dragon down due to genetic kidney failure. I wish LLLReptile would have more knowledge about the medical history of the animals they are selling. The day I got my dragon I remember them telling me somebody brought her back because she wouldn’t eat. They assured me all they had to do was give her a soak and a hornworm and she was fine again. I see they failed to complete any tests on her. I am very heartbroken and disappointed I hope this location can do better for their further animals.

A very handy local shop for reptile and invertebrate keepers. Can't beat their prices for live food!

Very busy on Sundays. You won't get help unless you're aggressive, and employees seem worn out at the end of the day. Came back on Monday to get a snake, and received a lot of help and good customer service. If patient with this place, it's worth it. They're just small and very busy.

I had a wonderful experience here! A young man by the name of Angel helped guide me through the process of how to properly take care of my pet snake I recently acquired. If you go here ask for Angel he's very knowledgeable and is very passionate about his job! Best reptile shop in SD!
