Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant reviews
17Great menu and cocktails. Good wine selection and inside atmosphere. Sitting outside is nice but quite noisy. The pomegranate lemon cocktails are delicious and the happy hour is very fairly priced
Favorite downtown brunch place. Great place to sit outside drinking bottomless bloody marys and mimosas and to decide between eggs benedict or pizza for breakfast.or skip straight to dessert.
Amazing dinner, drinks, and brunch! I love their pizzas, esp the mushroom one! It's great to have so many veg options for my partner?
(also hands down best parklets in downtown)
Delicious food. Staff was accommodating to us even though we pushed our reservation till later.
Space is great. Cocktails were great. No complaints.
Food is more than just something to eat, it's about satisfying your craving of a smell, texture, taste, and memories. Local kitchen used to be great, this is the second time that they miss to prepare a to go order on time, first time 60 min and second time 30min. If the quality of food was good, I would forget right after eating but the quality has degraded a lot, not sure why. Specifically tonight, the fungi pizza was horrible, lots of oil and an old oily cheese that smelled oily too. Too bad, I really liked this neighborhood kitchen.
The place is so coool. The food is delicious; we ordered garden pizza and salmon. The service is good
I remember their pizza being a lot better pre-pandemic. Still a great dine-in place in SOMA
We really enjoy this spot- the ambience and service is excellent, and they have a very reasonable happy hour! I wish they had more vegetarian options though - especially for the pizza, where we have to make a lot of substitutions:)
Excellent food. Excellent service. Close to the Transbay Terminal. I loved my vegan pizza!
Tucked into a tiny alley, this space is first rate.swipe a credit card and get a press club one at the entrance and you are good to go to charge up tastings, glasses, bottles, and bites.the chic concept lends itself to be a perfect place for entertaining business clients or just to meet friends before dinner.
This place used to have amazing burgers but tonight the patty was as thin as an In-N'Out burger, for $18! It was hard to taste the meat as it got buried in the toppings (which were good). After a similarly disappointing experience ordering their pizza a month ago, I'm not sure we'll be back. Apparently there is a new chef, hopefully they return some of the items back to their original recipes.
We have eaten here a couple of times and the food and drinks are always phenomenal! The pizza is amazing and has become our go-to in SF!
Nice restaurant to have in our neighborhood. Tried their new menu (nov 2021) and the burger is delicious. It comes with a generous serving of fries and they give you both ketchup and mayo, the latter tasted like it was made in house. Usually I have to ask for mayo with my fries. Mushroom arancini is cheesy and super crunchy on the outside
Don't order delivery. They accept orders, have them sit in a pending status for an hour, and then cancel. We're big fans of the restaurant in person and want to support, but we've had way too many canceled delivery orders with no explanation and no way to contact the restaurant (they're bad at answering phones).
I think this place is really worth 4.4-4.5 especially giving its effort to put up nice parklet outdoor seatings. I live in the neighborhood and I saw them constantly trying to improve. Love their woodfire broccoli and pizza selections. They have an awesome wide range of wine list too.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Ashley, Jasmine and Phillip provided a great experience. The Burratta and Arancini were absolutely delicious. The fungi pizza was crispy and flavorful. 10/10 highly recommended!
Love local kitchen! I have been coming here since many years! Food never disappoint! Service was super Awesome! We got grilled broccoli and I normally hate broccoli but this became my favorite! Of course, pizza is highlight of our meal along with chefs special noodle dish! Definitely will come back for more!
