I've had locs now for about 10 months and I didn't like them much. I felt I totally made the wrong decision. I wasn't happy with my stylist at all. I found Lyric on Style Seat. She made me fall in love with my locs! I was in total tears before I met her. I also have loc extensions and I really didn't like them and how they were installed. It was a mess! Lyric first had a consultation with me, and it went smoothly. She saw the wrongs of my loc extensions and took care of me. She repaired my locs that were not attached properly. She totally made my locs look brand new! She took her time and I seriously had to hug her afterwards.

Now after about 3 appointments, I am over the moon with my new loctician, my beautiful locs, and now my new friend! The way she loves my locs and cares for my locs and educates me about my locs, makes me feel like she loves my locs as much as I do. Lyric was exactly who I was looking for and a total blessing to have by my side as I continue my loc journey! She is a Queen and absolutely amazing in her craft! Her aura, personality, and professionalism made me feel good. I now know I am on the right track to creating an everlasting relationship with her and healthy beautiful locs.

I got my locs done by Lyric back in January. My style of choice were crocheted loc extensions and color. I was so disappointed when the work didn’t last. Since January I have lost 1-2 locs a month. I spent a good amount of money for this service. I ended up having to pay her to repair the locs every month. This is not how this should work. My last appointment was canceled by her. I thank her for canceling because I wouldn’t have found out she installed the locs incorrectly and that’s why they came out. My hair was teased at the root and not crocheted and she made some sections to small and I would have had thinning. I wouldn’t recommend her for loc extensions. Don’t waste your money or time. It took her 10 hours to install them. After I commented on her social media she removed my comments and still has me in reels on her page. Which I think is misleading to future customers. I would suggest getting feedback from other customers or just find another Loctician. Do not trust Styleseat reviews. I hope she improves her skills so this doesn’t happen to other customers. To have two different Locticians tell me she installed them wrong was so upsetting. I use the reel she made on IG for them to review how she installed them.

To cancel the appointment the day before and send a text blaming the customer and not taking accountability is unprofessional. Warning to future customers.
