Loews Hollywood Hotel, Los Angeles CA

The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms are outdated and the layout for the Directors Suite doesn't make sense. There is wasted space in the bathroom and there is a long countertop with only one sink. The shower and the toilet are in the same room and there is empty, useless space. There is no Lux in these rooms. The hotel is convenient to the Hollywood Bowl and the Ford Theater, but not that nice.

Not in the best area, lots of homeless and drunk people on the street and sidewalk right outside, but security and valets are there at all hours of the day. Very helpful staff, clean and spacious room, and great water pressure in the large shower

Very nice and clean hotel, wonderful staff, convenient 15min walk to Hollywood bowl. My drive was about 40-50 from LAX but it all depends on traffic. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Be careful of homeless people around area otherwise a great hotel.

This was by far THE BEST hotel experience! As a frequent traveler it was so refreshing to have such an amazing staff! Everyone was so courteous and welcoming! The food was amazing at Preston's! We will definitely always stay here when in L. A! Thank you again!

Nice hotel. Area isn't so great for families with kids. Too many homeless people around hollywood. Too much pot being smoked. I'm sure other rooms were better. Mine had an issue with the door, it was stuck and needed to be pushed with force. Bathroom cabinet was aged too with water damage. Same with the bathroom door. They had to fix the closet door while I was there. The safe was worn out. I'm sure other rooms would've been nicer but I could've received the bad room because of booking through a third party. Staff is nice. Use your daily food credit or you lose it like I did.

Edited: Knocked off a star because they had (probably unintentional) hidden fees. They took care of things, but there was a "destination fee" that was added that made my bill significantly higher than the 15% taxes and fees.

This a beautiful hotel, with excellent amenities, the staff is friendly and very accommodating to our needs.conveniently located in Hollywood. Nice views, Valet is on point. You won't be disappointed.

The main issue I had I wasn't explained about the $20 credit I had for my room. I was there for 5 nights! My face shield was thrown away by house keeping but the front desk went above and beyond gave me a replacement mask. Which was awesome!

The H2 restaurant bartender was not attentive. Took along time to support and was somewhat sarcastic. I advised the front desk and no one called back. This was my only issue the whole time.

I'll tell you one thing that travel agents do not want you to know. When reserving places use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ They have the best deals on resorts! Way better than using orbitz, priceline, hotwire. Take my word for it!

Our housekeeping lady was excellent. She took the time to arrange my daughter's stuffed toys that she brought on the trip, on the bed like we do at home. It was a nice welcome back after a long day of sightseeing.

The room layout and design is moderate and could use a bit of updating but was very clean and cozy. I loved the shower and the atheistic of the bathroom. The hotel has direct access to a large shopping center with poplar retailers and even a movie theater. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is literally right outside the door and a huge range of dining, entertainment, and tourist attractions are within a very short walking distance (less than 5 minutes). I do wish that tickets to attractions and airport shuttle service was available also room service is limited to breakfast only although the bar serves delicious lunch and dinner options. The staff were always very courteous, polite, and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here especially if it's your first time in L. A. There is so much to do no matter your age. The hotel is very family friendly and even offers babysitting. For the price and location this is perfect for vacations or even weekend getaways.

I loved everything about this hotel from the location, to the cleanliness, to the staff being extremely kind. I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Terrible service I paid $656 dollars for a studio a night and when I got there my room wasn't even ready I waited for 25 min the guy on the front desk told me just to wait on the side so he can help the next customer, I don't mind paying the amount of money that's why I work hard and I don't want anything free all I want I good service, the check in time was at 4 pm it's 5: 02 and I still waiting for my studio king suite! I'm very disappointed and not happy wjit the service!

They also told me that there was a view of the Hollywood sing and the room was on the 4th floor!
It's a total rip off!
I don't recommend the king studio suite!
I think it's better for you if if you are looking for a nice view to get the skyline rooms and you will save money!

It's my doghther birthday and I was hoping to give her a nice birthday present but it wasn't like that just the fact that we had to wait for more than 30 min ist disappointing.
I believe I just ended getting a room in the 4th floor instead of the suite that I was going to get in the 10 th floor.
I will definitely never comeback to this place!
I don't recommend paying alot of money for the suite,
Just get a regular room

Awesome place! The staff was super helpful. We were here for some acting auditions for our daughter. Her only request was that see could see the Hollywood Sign. And they made it happen. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Amazing hotel in the perfect location. Many of the attractions close by. The rooms are big and clean. The view is really nice.
