1 Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Center (Lokahi OCC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization and was founded in 1992. Lokahi provides recreational and competitive paddling experiences for people of all ages living in the North Bay. Activities include the summer sprint race season and a number of long distance races throughout Northern California. Lokahi presents a cultural experience of outrigger canoe paddling with exposure to Hawaiian song and dance and other elements of Hawaiian culture.
Lokahi OCC is a member of the Northern California Outrigger Canoe Association (NCOCA).
Lokahi means Unity in Hawaiian and it is shown with their members when they all come together. Whether if its for practice, a race, canoe blessing, or just hang out and talk story time.
