Lombard Plaza Motel, San Francisco CA

I have stayed here many times for medical trips. The rooms are always clean and quiet. Customer service is great. Location is great, everything you need is within walking distance. Free parking in a parking lot. Price is great as well. Will continue to stay here in the future.

Great place. Free parking. Clean. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. I've stayed here several times and will definitely stay again.

The two-story motel was surprisingly safe and clean. The location was central to most places of interest in the city. Rooms that are close to the sidewalk may be a little noisy from pedestrian and vehicle traffic, so pick the rooms away from the street. The free parking was great and plenty. We’ll stay at this motel again for the next visit.

Nice rooms, clean, helpfull staff, including everything you expect in motel. Good value for the money. You can use laundry also. Parking place small, but ok.

They charged me for a stay that I did not make. I contacted them and no response. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Be careful with this chain!

Honestly I was worried booking a motel because I normally do not find they are clean or safe - I couldn’t have been more wrong! This place made our trip to SF so pleasant and relaxing. The rooms exceeded our expectations with size and cleanliness.the staff and cleaning ladies were also very kind. I even forgot my concert tickets and had them sent via Fed EX to the front desk with no issues. The location was very safe with cute bars and restaurants near by. I will definitely be staying here again for our next trip!

Lovely Stay. The staff was pleasant and Housekeeping was excellent. The room was comfortable and very clean. My impute would be to clean up the exterior of the property. Still a good place to stay!

Surprisingly luxe rooms given the outside appearance (and room rate). Plush towels and a shower as nice as in my just-renovated bathroom at home. Off-street parking included (note: first come, first served). Staff were exceptionally helpful. Safe neighborhood, lots of restaurants in walking distance, bus stop just outside the motel on a line that took us over to Fisherman’s Wharf/cable cars. A few nits: no Kleenex that we could see, no hooks & only one towel rack in bathroom, mini-fridge had no freezer. Would definitely stay again.

Tonight we our staying here at Lombardo inn we have always had a clean room and great service very friendly but we've watching the gentleman at the front desk eric and he is making sure that no one is peeing on our vehicles or messing with our property good guy honest people here and I will keep coming back

Location was great. But the WiFi was horrible, unusable, dropped every 5 seconds, I had to use my cell data. Also, it was very off putting that I had to pay an extra odd $10 fee at check in when I arrived late at night that was nowhere disclosed on my booking with Traveluro. Stayed 4 nights, requested an upstairs unit but got a bottom and it was a bit loud. Also, 2 very small windows made it feel a bit like a dungeon. 3 stars because WiFi is a must while traveling, and hidden fees are super annoying.

Nice place to stay for a night, near golden Gate. Night Life is even more nearer. However, matress are to improve. Overall good place to stay and It has free parking included if there is room left

Location is amazing, you can easily get everywhere with a bus. There is free parking space, we had no problems with finding a spot, plenty of room. Very nice service, and the rooms were so clean! Really recommend if your staying for a night or two.

If you're a light sleeper pass on this, can get noisy because of the cars and loud people in the streets.

The motel is located on Lombard Street, a fairly busy street in San Francisco. Parking space (not very spacious spaces) is included, which for me was the biggest advantage of this motel! Reasonably good neighborhood too, few vagabonds compared to other parts of the city. Fisherman's Wharf is easy to walk to and you can also rent bicycles here. Bus stop was also around the corner.

The room itself was also quite clean, not very spacious, but you don't need much when you are in a city like San Francisco. The bed slept well, fridge and TV with many channels also available. Breakfast was not included, so we went to Mel's Diner (across the street) or one of the many breakfast restaurants on Chestnut Street (street behind it).

Negatives: The rooms are extremely noisy, this is due to the thin walls and (laminate?) floors. I could hear my upstairs neighbors walking all the time and they were slamming the doors next to us, so this was amplified even more.

Due to the noise in the rooms, I would not stay here again, I am a light sleeper.

Nice clean rooms. Hair dryer and refrigerator as well as a coffee maker are available. There is also a small selection of toiletries in the bathroom.
However, the rooms are very noisy and at night you can also hear the noise from bars, the street or people arguing in the back rooms.
A free car park is available. We were lucky and didn't have to leave our car in the back parking lot - we wouldn't have considered our car safe. The outside could use a coat of paint. If we hadn't reserved online in advance, we would certainly have stopped by.
We recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Affordable price, very clean rooms. Secure parking but if you arrive late you can't reach the front of the rooms and they send you to one that is behind the building which did not give me much security

Great location to Pier39 and the sea. The rooms were also sufficient for 4 people. Unfortunately a bit clairaudient but that's the way it is with a motel and the motel can't do anything for other noisy guests. A big plus is the available parking spaces.

When it's full there are no parking spaces and when everything is packed at the back you can't park at all or under very tight conditions.
It's best to leave your car behind and take a taxi
