Lopez Ridge Park, San Diego CA

This is a small kept secret park that my kiddos love to go to when we get tired of Covid days and want a not so crowded park to play. I can watch the boys play basketball and my daughter play at the playground at the same time which is a perk. My daughter loves the playground which has a big kid and little kid option. The basketball court is big enough for everyone and the field has a loop for strolls or just to fly kites on the green grassy area. We love this park!

Fantastic park. Lots of parking, bathrooms, water fountains, multi structure play ground with a tire swing (no regular swings), Sand pit, and sun sails providing ample shading. There are also several stations for parallel bars, pull up bars, sit ups, basketball court etc. Its pretty hot up there so make sure to bring plenty of fluids.

Nice playground in good condition and lots of shade. It also has a big open field and perimeter trail.

Nice park. Has a recreation center, bathrooms, covered jungle gym area, one full size basket ball court and one baseball/ softball diamond with small set of bleachers. The drinking water fountain even has a dog fountain too! The parking looks limited through. There is a walkway that has small excircise areas along the whole perimeter of the park. A comfortable place to enjoy with family

Gud place for playing soccer. This place has gud view. Have restrooms and covered kids area.

A pleasant city park above a quiet canyon paralleling Calle Cristobal for a nice hike 100 ft below street level; in all a 3 mile loop returning via Calle Cristobal. There are several picnic tables plus toilets. A lack of tall trees means there is little shade for post-hike picnicking on a warm sunny day.

Nice.mid size park, but comes with many amenities like basketball court, baseball field, children playground, community hall for rental, water fountain, restroom, walking/running path around the field. The best thing is this place is never crowded and so could always enjoy the area whenever we are here.

Nice park for kids, offers some shade, and restrooms. Also good for adults looking for a short loop to walk and exercise.

Good place to decompress from nearby sales visits. I don't always want to go sit at a coffee shop or restaurant. This is a fairly quiet neighborhood park with light activity.

Beautiful view, clean park, plenty of benches for picnic and nice paved walking trail to get some steps in.

Love the wide concrete pad around the baseball field. It is wide enough for the kids to play with scooters. Play structure has shade so it is nice during hot weather. Limited parking can be an issue when there is birthday party. There is a population of California quail running around the west side of the park.

Good playground. Tons of shade on the equipment. Also has a nice open field for running or kicking a ball with the little ones.

Nice surrounding, but playing at this park can suck, too much uneven ground. I almost sprayed my ankle.overall good park to hang around.

Parking lot on the smaller side, average sized play area. Good Basketball court, soccer field.

My local park. I love it! I do laps around the park while watching the birds, squirrels and cottontail bunnies. Cute little playground for kids. Basketball court. Baseball field. Great trees to sit in the shade on the grass.

Great park. Wonderful playground with canopy for plenty of shade. Patio with tables for parties and picnics. Convenient facilities accessible throughout the day and early evening. Well lit paved walkway with multiple exercise stations along the route. Well lit basketball full court. Baseball field and plenty of room for other activities on the grass. Plenty of overlooks into the canyon and nature preserve.
